RG2247's "Extreme fantasy " Mock Draft

first we'll go with FA signings :

David Carr,  QB,  from Giants

Ben Hartsock,  TE, from Jets  ( Good Blocker )

Dwan Edwards,  DE/DT from Ravens

Travis Kirshke, DE/DT from Steelers ( Old, but still effective. A 1 year stop gap till our rookies develop )

Dumervil

Kuper

Orton

Prater.

Now for the " Extreme ". Trades :

1. We trade BMarsh & our 2nd #45, to the Rams for their 1st #1, & their 2nd #33

2. We trade 1st #1 from rams to Buccaneers, for their 1st #3, 2nd #35, & their 2011 2nd rounder. They want Suh.

3. we trade 1st #3 from Bucs to Bills, for their 1st #9, 3rd #72, 6th #168, & Lee Evans. They want 1st QB taken.

4. We trade 1st #9 from Bills & Scheffler, to Bengals for their 1st #21, 2nd #54, 5th #148, & 2011 3rd rounder. They want Dez Bryant, & get their TE to boot.

5.  We trade Stokely to Balt. for their 5th # 152

6. We trade Hillis to Houston, for their 6th # 177

7. We trade our 6th # 168 & 6th # 177, to Detroit for their 5th # 129

Most of this will take place on draft day, or just before. Some real wheeling & dealing. LOL

Now for the Draft :

Round 1- #11    Rolando McClain, MLB, Alabama

Round 1- #21    Mike Iupati,  OG,  Idaho

Round 2- #33    Maurkice Pouncey,  OC,  Florida

Round 2- #35    Kyle Wilson,  CB,  Boise St.

Round 2- #54    Cam Thomas,  NT,  North Carolina

Round3- #72    Alex Carrington,  DE,  Arkansas St.

Round 3- #80    Roger Saffold,  OG/OT,  Indiana

Round 4- #111    Jacoby Ford,  WR,  Clemson

Round 5- #129    Riley Cooper,  WR,  Florida                       Are you tired yet ????

Round 5- #148    Camerron Sheffield,  OLB,  Troy

Round 5- #152    Corey Peters,  DE,  Kentucky

Round 6- #173    Lonyae Miller,  RB,   Fresno St.

Round 7- #204    Pat. Stoudamire,  CB,  West. Illinois

OK. Now we have half the players in the draft, + an extra 2nd, & 3rd, for next years draft. Just like Papa Belichek would do. LOL. This was fun to play with, & would be my extreme fantasy.

In reality, I think BMarsh is staying in Denver, which would wipe out most of these picks, but in fantasy, this would top the Cutler trade by leaps & bounds.

lol nice imagination!

Well, you’ve found a way to get McClain, Lupati and Pouncey. That would be an amazing draft! I’m getting to be a big fan of Cooper and Ford’s a nice deep threat too, but I doubt they’ll be there that late? Also, it struck me that we would be attempting to replace Marshall and Stoekely with a 4th and 5th round receiver. Also, I’m not really down with drafting Wilson. He’s not too small to be effective, but we just drafted a high-round cb that’s also smaller. I think we would be better served with a taller guy if the mission is to eventually hope to have him and Phonz as the starting duo. Otherwise I think we would be a little ill suited to cover the big, tall wideouts.

Again, love the top three especially. I would love this overall draft if we just had an earlier WR and maybe Avant or Walter or somebody like that.

Good luck with the Redskins Mr. Mike! I'll be watching and cheering for a non-Bronco team for the first time in my life. Well, except when they play the Broncos!

I think you missed it

We got Lee Evans in the Bills trade. We have lots of options with this many picks. LOL

I thought about Cook at CB

but round 2 is too high for him. He is a big CB ( 6’2, 210 ), but not as fast as Wilson. He may even end up playing Safety.

Yeah, I'm with you on needing another cb

Just not sold on having two rather short corners to groom. To each their own though. Cook is certainly big enough, but I haven’t seen much of him.

All kidding aside

I really like Stoudamire at CB. He is 5’11-195, & runs a 4.42 40time. Will be one of the fastest CB’s in the draft

Very interesting mock. Wouldn’t mind at all if by some miracle things turned out that way. I really like the Cam Thomas pick he is really growing on me.

"H.I., you're young and you got your health, what you want with a job?" - Evelle from Raising Arizona
"It happens sometimes. People just explode. Natural causes." - Agent Rogersz from Repoman
