If Rolando McClain Is Taken At 11 Do We?
Assuming that Marshall stays a bronco and is not traded this year. If Rolando McClain for some reason is not there at pick 11, do we go Dez Bryant so we can make sure we have a number #1 WR next year or do we go O-Line? I would have to think we would go O-Line since Bryant has issues and we have to be able to run the ball with the type of QB's we have but there is always the option of drafting Dexter McCluster for our second round pick since I dont think there is any way he falls to the third round. We would still have a big hole to fill at ILB but having Marshall, Bryant, and McCluster all on the field at the same time would be a nightmare and that's not even including Nashawn Marino. For the 3rd round pick at number 80 we could draft Sean Lee from Penn State or Donald Butler ILB from washington(He bench Pressed 225 35 times and that was best of all the linebackers and 5th overall) Just some food for thought...
What do you guys think?

I voted other because
I really hope something happens that allows us to trade down and get our O-line pick(s) further down the draft board. I know it isn’t likely….just hopin’. If not, then I would vote D-Line.
I don't think we are going to go for Dez.
It just really seems like he is not a focus for us, we have a good receiving group…BMarsh will likely be in Orange and Blue, and we have the tools to catch the ball. (yes we could have better tools but what we have is not bad).
I hope McX sticks to the biggest needs and that is the trenches right now. The rest of our game is fairly settled, even if only for one more year. (yes our team is OLD!) but I’m ok with that for the short term.

Yep!!
I agree, who would have ever thought in denver we could not run the ball. This was the bread and butter of mike for several years and ultimately one of the downfalls as well in the end. We really have to get back to football 101 and that’s pounding to open up the passing game. I know we have a good receiving core behind marshall and they will be so much better if we can run the ball to force everyone in the box. If we can do that then we are in business since marshall is a BEAST!!

Demarius Thomas is climbing the boards
Even though he isn’t top 20 material he would be a great find in the 2 rd. If we take anybody at #11 we probably will go with a defensive lineman…Dan Williams maybe?
He could make a great complement to Marshall

I voted other. Lets trade back.
First let me say that I will be sick if we pick up Dez Bryant.
But if we are going for a receiver I say we trade back and go for Golden Tate.
O-Line guys can always be picked up in later rounds.

"Experts" are saying....
That Dez Bryant is slipping late in the 1st to early second. @ #11 it would not be the right time fo rDez Bryant.

Given that McD....
…looks to set up rookies in position to learn from veterans, do we really want Dez Bryant learning from B.M? Perhaps Marshall could point out the finer details of getting arrested.

I voted Pouncey
I mean…O-line. (=

If it was up to me I would keep Marshall. Trade down with our 11th pick and go O-line with our 1st pick. With our second go ILB. With our 3rd go either 0-line depth or D-line depth. With our 4th go WR. With our 5th go for CB. I would also use any additional picks (trades of from the trade down) for depth at defense. I think we are set at QB, RB, and WR. I believe Marshall will be productive and will get his money but more importantly will stay out of trouble due to language in his contract and from growing up. I see the Broncos challenging the Bolts for the division. Rivers will always be able to throw but unless they can pick a stud RB (via draft) they become very one dimensional. Oakland and KC will battle for 3rd and 4th. The Broncos are looking good and are moving in the right direction. GO BRONCOS.
and the other
Well said.

NO DEZ!!!!
That’s mostly all I have to say…..
After the MD’s comments on the site about McClain I’m doubting whether he’d be the pick even if he is there.
If we don’t trade down I have to pick D. Williams, or Haden at 11. Iupati maybe, but G is pretty deep in the draft. I think Haden is slowly becoming my top pick though as CB seems to be much weaker than DT or OL in this draft.
