Christmas in March

With the Brandon Marshall tender-situation thourougly exhausted, I'm forced to either hold hope that we can somehow finagle to jack up the first-round compensation for him departing, or that the terms he agrees to with another team, are attractive enough for us to match the offer.

But tomorrow is the beginning of Christmas, and since Josh McDaniels and Brian Xanders were such Rock Stars in free agency last year, I expect we should have a rainbow of a time unwrapping our gift(s) tomorrow and in the days to come.

Whether shinny and flashy, or dull and servicable, here are some unrestricted players that should be interesting to watch:

Mike Gandy, AZ, OT
Stephen Neal, NE, OG
Kevin Mawae, NE, OC
Hank Fraley, CLE, OC
Casey Rabach, WAS, OC
Antonio Bryant, TB, WR
Willie Parker, PIT, RB
Darren Sproles, SD, RB
Ben Watson, NE, TE

Dwan Edwards, BAL, DE
Jarvis Green, NE, DE
Lito Shepard, NYJ, CB

I didn't really include the more expensive guys, as that just doesn't seem to be our style. There's pluses and minuses with each I've listed, but I see every one of them as possibilities. Just wondering who you folks think we will be targeting...

P.S. Dansby is on my wish list, as is Boldin. Although I consider each of them too expensive in the minds of the powers-at-be. They've got to have some kind of budget, no telling what that is, though. Again, who am I missing and what are your thoughts?
