I would take the 6th pick for Marshall!
Those that cant coach, compete!
Failing to plan is planning to fail.
All I want is 53 Rod Smiths. Is that asking too much????

I dont like it, they need to throw in a player.
It the BRONCOS only get a pick, it would be like they traded BMARSH for A. Smith.
live and die blue and orange
A Smith and moving up from #14 to #6

Where does he say its the 6th pick?
Last night he tweeted that a move by Seattle for Kampman would “make sense” because of the Schneider-GB connection and the whole twitter-verse went nuts saying it was “likely”.
if they sign him to an offer sheet and the Broncos don't match they get the 6th pick by rule
not sure if the rule is higher pick or original pick, but either way it’s the 6th in this case.

instead of spending the money on an unproven draft pick, just sign BMARSH
live and die blue and orange
Nope....he needs a fresh start and so does the team...
McD will dump a 3rd for Boldin straight up and then me have MUCHO ammunition in the draft.
The 6th pick gives us TONNES of options now!

Does Seattle have to give the number 6 pick
Can’t they just give us our pick back, there is nothing that says where the pick has to be.

Shefter said specifically on Sportscenter that it had to be the #6

Shefter said, but I looked up the rules
There is nothing stating they have to give up their pick, only they have to give up a 1st round draft pick. Likewise, a team like the Bears could sign him and then give up a 1st round pick next year. I think Shefter may assume they have to give up the 6th pick, but I am guessing Seattle will give us back our pick.

I'm thinking that though there is no restriction...
Seattle is assuming that the Broncos would balk at them giving us the #14 instead of the #6. If they really want BM, they need to offer him market value money and also proabably offer us the #6 in order to get us to part ways…
In the CBA
When I was researching whether an original tender on Scheff would be a 2nd or 3rd, I came across a statement that said it would have to be the teams original pick or higher.
Therefore since Denver has Chicagos pick and it is higher than their pick, they can offer a 1st round tender a contract. But, if the picks were reversed and Denvers original pick was 11 and Chicgos was 14. Denver would not be able to offer a contract on a 1st round tendered player.

Normally I'm against trading into the top 10
But if we were able to land Suh or Berry (either of which we would have the ammo for with two picks in the top 11), I’d probably be ok with losing Marshall.
TAKE IT!!!!!!!

I say take the #6 pick
Normally the #6 pick would financialy hamstring a team, but it is an uncapped year and we can front load the Signing bonus for the #6 pick this year and make it cap friendly in the remaining years. I love B-Marsh as a player so if we lose him I am hoping for an impact player in return.
2/3 of the earth is covered by water the other 1/3 is covered by Champ Bailey!
THIS IS BRONCOS COUNTRY!!!
I just can't shake the image of Eric Berry and/or Ndamakong Suh in a Broncos jersey
We have a shot at a legitimate defensive game changer. Berry and McBath would be an awesome tandem.
TAKE IT!!!!!!!
