Breaking: Brandon Marshall traded for Phillip Rivers!?

APRIL 2, 2010 UPDATE: Yes it was just an April Fools joke, and yes it was lame, but I had fun! It even made SI.com! Was fun while it lasted... Go Broncos!!!

I just read on twitter that Brandon Marshall was traded (and two undisclosed draft picks) to the Chargers for QB Phillip Rivers! I know what you were thinking, I was thinking the same thing, happy April Fools, but then, I saw that ESPN was reporting it, and now I almost believe it.  [Click Image to Enlarge.]Breaking_marshall_for_rivers_medium

I disgust Phillip Rivers and his attitude and personality, but I must admit (although it makes me choke and want to pound a sledge hammer on my head) he does have skills, and is a good QB. He may be just want the Broncos need to get over the hump. On the other hand, Why in the World did the Broncos trade Brandon Marshall to an AFC Team!? Now we have to face him twice a year (as do the Chargers with Rivers)! And another thing, TWO Draft picks! That's insane, the Chargers are so good with draft picks, it makes this move look bad for the Broncos. There's Pro and Cons, but I think all the media will focus all the cons to Denver, getting a franchise QB, but the Bolts may have Denver's 11th pick, and there will be some pretty good QB's on the board at #11.

I'm still not sure to believe this is not, but I can't believe ESPN would be wrong, and I had herd rumors about Marshall going to the Chargers. But I brushed that off.

Let it sink in, and recover from the shock (which I haven't been able to do) and then let me know what You think!
