Happy Draft Day - No QB to be selected

Draft day has finally dawned - well it has in Edinburgh, currently most of you guys will be tucked up in bed and not sleeping through pre-draft anxiety!

All the worthless analysis (exception - MHR content), musings, observations, insider knowledge, rumours and pontification can be laid to rest.

Today we find out who is available to us, who we select, and what trades we make.

Today is where the future we've all dreamt of takes form.

But there is one thing i'm sure of .............. McD wont draft a QB.

Why would he?

He's been here a year.

He knows his own mind.

He's got three QB's on the roster who he personally selected in the last year plus.

Why do we think a man with such confidence in his own abilities would do a U-turn on decisions he's made on the most important position on the team.

Add in that we have bigger needs at the top of the draft.

Plus would you rather spend a late round pick on a QB to battle three hand picked McD guys, or a return specialist who will give us a positive EPV (shout out to TJ).

I expect us to sign a undrafted FA QB as a camp arm and to push Brandstater and Quinn.

And on that note, i'd better do some work - then head home to bed. The draft may be starting at 5.30pm for those based in the city of mile high love, but for UK guys its an all nighter with the first round starting at 12.30am.

Catch you for Round 1.
