Response to any 'Blame Clady' Argument

When I heard that Clady injured a knee playing basketball, I knew it wouldn't be long before some in the media started to find fault with Clady. Indeed, I read an article on espn today at lunch bemoaning his poor decision to play basketball in the offseason. That's just stupid. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that a fair percentage of pro football players play basketball in the offseason to stay in shape. NFL players have to stay in shape in the offseason. And ultimately there's no way to stay in shape that doesn't carry some risk of injury. It's unfortunate that Clady got hurt, but I really don't think he did anything wrong.
