Anyone have any thoughts on this? I love Westbrook
and think he’d be stoked to be back with his old bud Buckhalter. Seems like they both are getting up there and aren’t always healthy but the combo of the two would really help Knowshon learn and get some rest here and there.
There's no need to fear, Underdog is here! / Broncos/Dodgers/Lakers fan in Niners/Raiders/Giants/Warriors country, and damned proud of it.
My thoughts from other fanshot..
Him, Buck and Dawk were all on the same team together for years.. they will play a big part in his decision because they have insider info on team direction, locker room chemistry and coaching ability.
The rams and Jackson may be a better option in terms of being a true no. 2 but you saw how Josh used Moreno and Buck last year he just switched them over when one was gassed and stayed with whoever was ‘hot’.. Westbrook could instantly contribute in much the same way contributing to less wear and tear on our RB core in general and he would give us more vet leadership on the offensive side of the ball.
Agree completely
And like Avalanche says below my main worry is the same as everyone’s, how healthy is he, and his recent injury history could be a concern. But if he checks out in good health, I’d love him on the team.

I think a proven veteran can only help.
I am worried about his injury history, but think if he’s cleared to play then its okay.

I've been wondering about this for a few weeks
It’s about freakin time!! LOL
"All we're trying to do is win the *********** game!" -- Josh MF McDaniels tearing into his offensive line after three false starts in the red zone. The tirade turned the tide of the game, and the Broncos dominated from that point on.
Not high on my list
We aren’t going to go with more than 4 RBs (Moreno, Buckhalter, Arrington, Westbrook?). I’m not in favor of giving up a spot to a guy with a concussion history. When was the last time this guy played a full season? Do you really want to give up on one of the younger guys for someone who would likely be here for (not even) a year?
To be fair...
Westbrook wouldn’t be expected to carry the load, thus reducing the probability of an injury/wearing down. Another mentor for Moreno would be good, too.
