As many of my fellow MHR denizens know, Michael Lombardi of nfl.com, NFL Network and NationalFootballPost.com is a friend of the Broncos.
While mental midgets such as Jamie Dukes and Deion Sanders belittle us, Lombardi, due to him being a fellow Italian, I'm sure, as well as a genius, often gives us a fair shake and shows what the Broncos are all about.
In Tuesday's post on NFP, which is often a must-read for me every day, he had an interesting take on Kyle Orton.
Lombardi, who glorifies Josh McDaniels' efforts to ensure all 53 of the Broncos compete for their spot on the team, said now is the time for Orton to show his true colors.
Thus, it is good for KO that Tim Tebow, Tom Brandstater and Brady Quinn are all here to push him as OTA's and training camp progress.
After all, competition has made our nation great and assuredly, it can help Orton be the best he can be as well.
With that said, I'm glad that Orton remains here and I'm ecstatic that he'll get sufficiently pushed as the offseason progresses.
Thanks for reading my takes, fellow Broncos fans, and let's have an outstanding season!
