Hey everyone!  It's been a while since I made a post, so I thought I'd give you a list of my predictions for the 2010 season and even further into the future.  WARNING: THIS POST IS MOSTLY IF NOT ALL OPTIMISTIC

1. Knowshon Moreno will be a top ten RB in the NFL, with 1300+ yards, and 10 TDs
   
   Knowshon is a very very talented back, and with a year of experience and a full offseason with the Broncos, I expect him to have a big season.  I think he will be an elite back for years to come, and we will be one of the top rushing teams for a while.
2. Tim Tebow will start at least a few games in 2010
   
   I'm not the first one to say this, and some actually he will start game one.  I just really think he fits what McDaniels wants so much, even as a rookie he will have a part in this offense.  He's so football smart, and is such a hard worker, I think there's no way he doesn't play at least a little QB in 2010.  This is a topic that will probably be the most talked-about thing in the NFL pre-season.
   
   
3. Alphonso Smith will not be incredible, but he will do well in 2010
   
   I absolutely hate the dislike/doubt for the Phonz.  I really think he will be a good CB at the least in the NFL.  This has been talked about a lot, so I won't beat a dead horse, but I think he can and will succeed as the Broncos CB
   
   
4. Darcel McBath will be an elite safety in the NFL
    
   This is not a 2010 prediction, but I do predict a solid season for him this year.  I think McBath will be one of those ballhawking safeties that makes it very dangerous to go deep on our D.  I think he will get 3 INTs next year.  
   
5. Eddie Royal will have a BIG year
   
   I know I'm definitely not alone here in thinking that.  Eddie Royal is my personal favorite player, although I love most of the Broncos players.  Just his combination of talent on the football field, and being a great guy off the football field make him a really fun guy to cheer for.  I think he will be catching many balls this year.
   
   
6. Our rookie receivers will contribute quite a bit, and one will receive ROY
   
   I know that the expected ROY is probably someone like Ryan Mathews or CJ Spiller, but both of our receivers are being put into great situations and should succeed early.  I think Decker will be a very reliable target, especially on third downs, and Thomas will be a major deep threat.  Watch out NFL, our receiving corp is looking stronger and stronger.
   
7. Perrish Cox will indeed be the sleeper of the 2010 NFL Draft
   
   Many are thinking this already, and I think they are correct.  He is very talented as both a returner and a CB.  If he stays out of trouble I see him as one of our starting corners in 2-3 years.  Look for some nice returns his rookie year.
   
   
8. Our linebacking corp will do very well
   
   Ok, this is how I see it: Robert Ayers did pretty well last year and will improve, Dumervil is a monster rushing the QB, and is good at stopping the run, Mario Haggan is a very talented LB that will do well at ILB, and DJ will do just fine like usual.  I think, especially with our much-improved D-Line, that we will be tough to run against.
   
9. Our TEs will perform better than anyone thinks..other than us
   
   Graham is always a solid player, a great blocker and an ok receiver.  Richard Quinn I think will start to take over as the primary blocking TE.  Then there's the guy most other people don't know about, Marquez Branson.  McDaniels seems like he's very high on this guy, so I have some faith in the kid.  I think he'll do just as well a Scheffler would have done, if not better.
   
   
10. The 2010 Denver Broncos will go 11-5, making the playoffs and winning a game there
    
    Looking at all the factors that affect our football team, I see a very good season and a team on the rise toward being an elite one.  It's time to take over the AFC WEST!!
