The 49ers finished strong last year, winning their final two games against the Lions and Rams to get to the .500 mark. The great Terrelle Pryor debate | National Football Post
Is he or isn’t he a potential NFL starting quarterback prospect? I know it’s still a ways off before we know the answer to that question about Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor, but ever since the end of the 2010 draft, it’s one I keep getting from readers across the country. And much like Tim Tebow and the arguments that took place projecting his game at the next level, Pryor seems to be generating similar debates as a future NFL prospect.

Cold Super Bowl? Good. 'Enhanced schedule?' Not so much
Maybe it's my East Coast bias, or tolerance for cold weather, or memories of running across the street to the park with a football anytime we got a decent snowfall in Baltimore. I readily admit to all of the above. And, yes, I do love New York (even in the wintertime).

Hoping Thomas' "sad" Tweet isn't about his foot
but methinks it is…

Thanks for the news John,
Twitter, what a waste, just goes to show how two random comments, not connected to each other can be misinterpruted and twisted to mean anything you want. This is why I don’t personnally use it. The first one Thomas posted was basically an annoucement, clear enough. The second is one word with no context or meaning surrounding it. But, hey let’s put them together and conjure up some rumors while we’re at it ….sheesh. Klis needs to find something real to report on for crying out loud.

LOL
Twitter just enhances the risks associated with speaking even though you really have nothing to say.
Why hate on your OWN team when you've got the Raiders?

Amen to that
"I cannot give you a formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure: Try to please everybody."
The Raaaaaidaaaz... commitment to hilarity.
The JaMarcus grievance news just makes me LOL. That organization is a joke right now.
Yet, it’s actually kind of sad in a way… I hope they can regain a little of their former selves as they are less of a hated rival now and more of a sideshow that we point and laugh at.
It is more fun to hate them...
When they’re competitive, as much as I hate to say.

Unrelated question (sorry)…
Who are your likely starting WR’s this season? It looks to me like Royal and Gaffney – Is that correct?
Formerly Bye, Dawk :(
Quoted yesterday that they were moving him (Royal) all around in different spots...
I think it will be Gaffney, Lloyd and Royal…

Ah, gotcha… No FB. OK, let’s say you run a 2 TE set though… Which receiver of the 3 most likely comes out? Lloyd?
Formerly Bye, Dawk :(
I think that depends on the play
they seem to like Lloyd as a deep threat – at least through OTAs.

Sad
I hope that he writes more for nfl.com than he has up to now. Lombardi is one of the people who’ve been in the business and knows what he’s talking about. He’s also a good writer – I’ll miss seeing his work at NFP. All the best to him in his new situation.
