Okay, so I thought I would take a moment to allow everyone to take a little perspective.

Yesterday i was looking at the Broncos news on Denver Post and read an article about Tim Tebow. Nothing in depth, basically discussing that he was throwing under center at the Rookie minicamp. Basic article, nothing very controversial, however I made a grave mistake at that point. I looked at the comments section.

For those of you who believe the arguments sometimes get heated here, you have no idea, If you haven't read any comments there recently, go check some out, you will see how great having somewhere to intelligently discuss the Bronocos truly is. The post is full of racial slurs, insults, with absolutely NO FACTS. I have no problem discussing my opinions with those who disagree. We have discussed my opinion on Mr. Kyle Orton here before, and many people disagreed with my opinion, however those discussions were full of counter points and facts. I believe Orton will break out this year, many disagree, however either way I was never called by a racial slur, told I was stupid, or any of the other terrible things I read over there.

Regarding the Tebow pick alot of heat has been generated as expected. Surprisingly lately the Alphonso Smith pick is back highly in discussion, but with both those discussion I have not seen such deplorable conduct as happens at the Post. I personally have not liked Tim Tebow in college. Not because of his skillset, not because of his religion, but because of a personal Bias. I am an Ohio State fan, and Florida beat us for the championship :( Petty I know, but thats why I spent 4 years disliking everything about the Gators lol. Regardless, I welcome Tim Tebow to the Denver Broncos, and wish him the best. I also think the discussion on Alphonso Smith is still premature. I believe that you can begin to ascertain his abilities after a second year, and truly discuss his true ability in about 3 years.

John  Elway threw only 7 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions in his rookie season for about 1600 yards. Anyone here believe Elway is a bust? It is difficult to judge a player after one year, especially if that year included injuries. If you think one of our picks will be a bust, that is fine everyone is entitled to their opinion, just back up your reasoning with facts, and keep direct attacks on other authors out of your conversation. All are welcome here, as long as you share your opinion, openly discuss that opinion, and realize that while not everyone agrees, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
