Josina Anderson of FOX 31 is reporting that defensive lineman Ronald Fields was arrested in Houston last night on a misdemeanor charge of unlawful carrying of a weapon.
The Broncos had no comment on the matter, and Anderson reported that Fields was booked and posted a $1,000 bond.
It is unknown at this point whether or not the Broncos and or the NFL will take action against Fields, but the second year Bronco was expected to have an impact in Denver's nose tackle rotation with newly acquired Jamal Williams.
Fields started all 16 games for the Broncos in 2009, and was a big reason for the team's early season defensive success.
