The Broncos today released punter A.J. Trapasso, leaving Britton Colquitt the only punter on Denver's roster.

Colquitt, a second-year pro from Tennesse, was signed as an undrafted free agent last season. Trapasso, a rookie, was added to the roster after the draft this year. But his stay was short.

The Broncos also added running back Kolby Smith from waivers. He was cut by the Chiefs on Monday. Smith is a fourth-year pro who's played in 27 games for Kansas City, with nine starts. He was a fifth-round draft pick in 2007.

Smith's addition likely means the Broncos will not add former Philadelphia running back Brian Westbrook, who had worked out with the team recently.

And, Denver waived rookie linebacker Korey Bosworth.
