Don't forget about Urlacher in Chicago | National Football Post
Is the Bears’ Brian Urlacher ready to have a bounce back season and perform at a high level at the middle linebacker position? I ask this because in an offseason highlighted by Mike Martz, Jay Cutler and Julius Peppers in Chicago, Urlacher has been lost in the shuffle.
Woodson: a free agent signing that worked | National Football Post
In my writings this week about the dangers of free agency in the NFL, I received many messages and comments about a successful free agent signing I was involved with at the Packers, that of Charles Woodson. Yes, sometimes free agency in the NFL does work, although in this case, the Packers were fortunate the circumstances played out the way they did.

Dolphins plan to induct Jason Taylor into Ring of Honor | National Football Post
Even though it was a messy divorce between the Miami Dolphins and former NFL Defensive Player of the Year Jason Taylor with him leaving the team this offseason to sign with the New York Jets, that apparently isn't going to keep the veteran pass rusher out of the team's Ring of Honor.
NFL.com news: Teams believing in 'convenient truths' as camps approach
July normally is supposed to be the quiet time around the league, but so far it's been very active. From players complaining about their contracts or tender offers, guys getting hurt, veterans deciding whether to suit up to another hosting (stupidly -- more on that later) a birthday party, there has been plenty to discuss.
NFL.com news: Draft value may have declined for linebackers, but not talent level
Over the past 10 years (2001-2010), only four inside linebackers have been drafted in the first round of the draft -- the only position with less first-round picks over that time is fullbacks with none (not including specialists).

Thanks, John.
I didn’t know the Broncos had a budding artist on their D-line.

Interesting observation by Lombardi
how is it that Jason Campbell was both the problem in DC and the solution in Oak?
If he was a bottom tier QB in DC why is he suddenly expected to become a top tier QB in Oak, a place not known for its sterling QB development?
because anyone who completes 50% of their passes
is elite in oakland!

How 'bout that Miami Big 3?
It’s in the Tracks, last item. Anyone want to bet they fall apart in the playoffs?
LeBron James. What a douche.

I going to be watching some very good basketball down here in South Florida. The Heat added Mike Miller tonight, a great three point shooter. With the sun, warm weather, good looking ladies, no state income tax and carefree lifestyle, the Heat should be able to fill up their roster quite nicely with guys looking to win championships and enjoy an NBA friendly lifestyle.
World Cup officiating reminds me of Bob Slowik's coaching. It’s embarrassing when people in the spot light get promoted well beyond their level of competence.
I have become REALLY annoyed with MHR over the last few weeks.
Nearly every time I open the site, it causes my windows explorer to freeze up. It also affects any other tabs I happen to have open at the time in the same manner. Sometimes, but not always, the status bar (or whatever it is called) at the bottom of the screen says it is trying to open a "face book plug-in" (and occasionally some "Yahoo! widget") –neither of which I use. It happens both at my office and at home, so it is definitely not the computer. Closing the window not only closes all the tabs but also closes other open windows and starting over usually has the same results. One remedy (which enabled me to post this message) is to leave the frozen window trying to do its thing while I open a new one and go to the site through it. Inexplicably, utilizing this strategy, the site will open right up the way it always used to. Anyway, it is extraordinarily annoying and if indeed it is caused by some third party software embedded in the site, I appeal to management such will be removed until the problem is solved.
I just got the same message from firstfan
I personally won’t use IE. Microsoft has too many pans in the fire. I use Mozilla Firefox and usually don’t have any issues with it. When I do, I switch over to Google Chrome. I’m sorry you guys are having problems with it.

I'm having exactly the same problem
I never used to have any difficulty at all. But for the last week or two it has been a real headache. And I agree, if its third party software on with the site, it should be removed.
Since this is the only site that I experience this problem, I don’t drop the blame on IE but rather on something the site is doing.

Yes. It is only MHR
I have no problem
with Firefox, or even with IE6. It is an IE/Microsoft issue even if MHR is the only site the YOU are experiencing it with.

I am not interested in leveling blame Slow Guy
I would just like the problem fixed. That aside, if I was running a website incompatible with the worlds most popular browser, I would consider it a problem regardless of what the cause might be.
Ditto again
I’ve been experiencing this problem for three days now, and only with MHR. Not with any other SBNation site or any other site at all. I informed kentuckybronco about this earlier today and just a few minutes ago sent an e mail about the problem to Bena.

Could they be more random??
I like Josh. But I need Ws.
Is that for real?
That Bradford’s negotiations will only start next week??!! Surely a contract like that is something you want to initiate discussions the day after the draft.

With the first pick it can be done before the draft
Remember Detroit had Stafford signed before the draft and the perdicated the pick on who they could get a deal done with.
I can’t believer they didn’t do the same thing with Bradford unless they were waiting for some one to offer a trade for his rights so they could save some of the upfront money its going to take.
