Perhaps a Better Low Risk, High Reward Option for Broncos
"Great day today, ran a 4.41 in the 40, having a pro day next Wednesday!!! Let's get it!!"
Mizzou WR Danario Alexander (knee surgeries) is holding a pro day for NFL teams next Wednesday.
Alexander was projected to be a mid-round pick after blowing up for 113 receptions, 1,781 yards and 14 TDs last year, but he missed the Combine with yet another in a long line of knee injuries. He appears to be close to full health once again.
Alexander was mocked to the Broncos often on this site, and now it appears as though he's fully healthy. Steal on the FA market? He will generate interest, no doubt, and we could use him.

it'd be nice
definitely like to give him a shot in TC. The reality is though he’s not likely to choose the Broncos. we have too many young WRs and its hard to see him getting a roster spot

Yes!
I’m glad you brought this to the attention of MHR, I hadn’t heard the status of his knee injury. Hopefully it’s healed well. This guy is just as beastly as D. Thomas, and kinda reminds me of a young Randy Moss. He was big part of why Mizzou has been very competitive in the Big 12 recently. Here’s a highlight reel.

Let's go make it happen.
If Taylor Swift were to try and tackle me, I'd let her.
If someone owned an ICEE truck and wanted to kidnap me, I'd let them.
Man Sayre
You sure are worried about the WR position. ; )
That's quite a long handle there, G Funk. - That's what she said.
First (and only, in our lifetimes) team to three consecutive SB wins!!!! ( =

Agree this a much better LRisk-HReward option than T.O.
Not sure about the high reward aspect, but it’s a better option than T.O. Of course, I think there are hundreds of unsigned players that would be better options than signing T.O.
If we add another receiver, then I think you had it right the first time with a stop-gap like T.O.
I’m not sure we have the roster room for Alexander. He was mocked to us before we drafted Decker and Thomas. A third rookie receiver coming off injury is not what we need. Not in any way.
If we take up roster space for another receiver, It will be for a proven receiver that can contribute now.
23-1. Determination. That which cannont be taught. The reult of finding yourself through adversity.

The Broncos should sign TO & make the game interesting again in Denver.
