Recent Broncos Memories

As the last of the draft picks sign and training camp begins, let's look back on some memories of the Broncos from recent years as we prepare for more to be made. Feel free to share!

Star-divide

Awesome. Just awesome. Kyle Orton's beard has nothing on The Snake.

Last Second Field Goal Against Bills

What an adrenaline rush that was! It was nice knowing you could always count on Jason Elam to come through when it counted.

Janikowski Iced

Sebastian Janikoski's kick soared through the upright, giving the Raiders an overtime win over the Broncos.... or so it seemed. As it turned out, Mike Shanahan had called a timeout right before the snap, so the play was redone and Janikowski missed the field goal. The Broncos drove down the field and won the game on a Jason Elam field goal. It's nice to know that you can always count on Sebastian Janikowski to miss a field goal when you need him to.

Eddie Royal's First Game

What a way to break into the league. With Brandon Marshall serving a one game suspension, the rookie made all the difference in the season opener on Monday night football against the hated Raiders, having 9 receptions for 146 yards and a touchdown in the 41-14 blowout.

Two Point Conversion Against San Diego

After getting a lucky break with a fumble that wasn't called, the Broncos took advantage with Jay Cutler connecting with Eddie Royal on the touchdown and two point conversion to beat Philip Rivers and the Chargers.

And so the magic of the vertically striped socks began in a close win over the Patriots.

Yeah, but that's not a recent Broncos memory...

It’s one of the most dramatic plays OF ALL TIME!

ok i might be the only one remembering this...

but it was 3 or 4 years ago and it might have been preseason, but one of the broncos d-lineman was caught on camera peeing behind a towel on the sidelines. i cant remember who it was though…

in a similar vein

anyone else remember a MNF game where Patrick Chukwurah vomited pre-snap, then rushed the QB like nothing happened?
also, the Xmas Eve game where the Bengals muffed the extra point to tie FTW.

I'll never forget that Bengals game

Probably the most fun I’ve had at a Broncos game. A light snow flurry the entire game, my first day back in CO from my first semester at college. Had seats in the front row in the North end zone where that extra point was muffed, great times. It took me a solid week before my voice was back to normal. :-)

Jake Plummer just LOOKED like a Denver QB to me.

Mountain-man style. Gotta love it! Kyle is close, though. It’ll be the day when Tebow scruffs out, though. I don’t think Jay could grow facial hair…. thoughts?
