I dare security to try and keep Tebow out of the building or off the field

He’ll probably use his ninja skills to sneak onto the field long enough to win all the suicide sprints and throw some passes to Decker at least.

Now what about Thomas already???!!!

lol

What about Thomas is right!?

It is more important for Thomas to be out there immediately than it is Tebow in this stage of the game, but it doesn’t hurt Tebow to get out there too!!!

daaayuuuuum! you gonna take that KB?!? lol -Broncs55

As long as all these rooks are signed by Sunday, when practice really starts, I’ll be happy.

Denver: 32-32 until we're not.

by McGeorge on Jul 28, 2010 12:45 PM MDT reply actions

Blasphemy

You? Happy? Say it aint so, McG. :)

I would think moderately content would suit you better.

It takes neither courage nor intelligence to cheer for a team only when that team wins. The true test of a fan's mettle is the same as it is for a player: Were you there when you were needed?

I’ve mastered the skill of being able to compartmentalize. Happiness is for the rooks being in camp on time. I’m still unhappy that McD is our coach. That won’t change until he shows me he can coach on gameday and produce a winner.

Denver: 32-32 until we're not.

Well Then

War McDaniels making McGeorge happy is all I have to say. This would be a win-win for all parties.

I would truly be shocked if Tebow waited until Sunday to take the field

He’s probably outiside impatiently starring through Brian Xanders’ window right now… or maybe over by the practice field looking, or in binocular range, looking like an anxious puppy staring at the playground through a gate that nobody will open for him.

I joke of course. And I know Tebow should be just another guy right now. But I also know the kid prides himself in winning sprints, carrying helmets & books, and being the first on the field and the last to leave. That doesn’t just go away because someone tells you “it’s a business”.

I will be shocked if he’s not on the field until Sunday.

by Alex on Jul 28, 2010 1:23 PM MDT up reply actions

Those importance of those rookie practices is marginal at best. I know Tebow can run sprints, lift weights and watch ST practice. There is no holdout pain until rooks start missing full practice. Sunday in this case.

Denver: 32-32 until we're not.

by McGeorge on Jul 28, 2010 1:36 PM MDT up reply actions

Yep...would be good to have our starting QB in camp by Sunday......only joking!

We agree

I’m not speaking of the importance to us having him – only the importance to him of being being out there. I half expect him to run onto the field sometime today.

LOL not fair!!

I posted this first…..oh well.

I’m with McGeorge, as long as the rookies are signed by Sunday, that’s what REALLY matters.

He will be here

To my understanding, rookie stuff starts at 3. There is still an hour left before practice. He will be there. He gets his contract done last minute and is on that field.

Tick … tick … tick.
The Broncos haven’t given up on getting deals done with first-round picks Tim Tebow and Demaryius Thomas before the team’s first rookie training camp workout that starts at 3 p.m. today, or about an half an hour from now.

Looks like D. Thomas contract is trying to get finalized too

Oh there is definately no confusiong

Chuck Norris is Tim Tebow. Let me explain…

Chuck Norris is sooooo cool, talented, gifted, etc – that he mentally stuck his powers, mind and spirit into Tebow, knowing how great of a character Tebow is, thus becoming Tebow.

It’s purely logical!

For goodness sakes man

You need to make sure you are correct with your theory or else Chuck Norris is going to wipe you off the face of the earth. Even if you are right he might not want the world to know yet so he still might wipe you out. All I am saying is tread lightly when it comes to Chuck.

Chuck Norris aparently has impeccable taste in art,

so I’m surprised none of the pictures on the wall or on the table are of Tebow.

I just saw on TV

What happened to...

Tebow saying he wouldn’t hold out at all?

Interesting that a 3rd string QB does such a thing when he really needs all the reps he can get.

by Matt In Canada on Jul 28, 2010 8:01 PM MDT reply actions

it may not be a hold out

it may be that the hold up is on Xanders side. he may want to have everything in order when he sits down with both gentlemen so that they don’t leave the room with out their ink on the paper

there is a lot we aren’t privileged to know. Don’t forget the union approval on contracts too

Technically not a holdout

until Suday; but he is missing some snaps.
