After the couple weeks we've had with injuries I don't know if I should share this or not but here goes. My daughter's orthopod is with the group of doctors that function as the team doctors for Boise State University. At the end of today's appointment I asked him if he thought Clady would be good to go in September. He answered with an unabashed "no way". Then he said, "I don't know why the papers are saying that. He suffered what is essentially a season ending injury." Being the optimist that I am I asked, "So maybe like December?" and he said, "Maybe. A ruptured patellar tendon is pretty severe." So I asked if there are varying degrees of severity and he said, "If surgical repair is required, it's severe."
Ug. I realize that this guy is no longer Clady's doctor so he's an outsider like the rest of us but do any of the doctors on here maybe have anything (preferably positive) to add?
