This is less an informative post than it is a request for information and analysis. Anyone who saw the Raiders, Chargers, and Chiefs preseason games, please provide your thoughts. I am particularly interested in how you think the Chiefs have improved or not, and how McClain and Campbell are doing with the Raiders. My impressions, correct or not, are laid out after the jump.
Chargers:
I noticed Merriman signed his tender, but McNeill and Jackson are still holding out. This apparent disarray makes me happy as a Broncos fan. But what have you seen from the rookie RB drafted this year? Does it look like they have depth? In general, do they look like favorites to win the West? Did Rivers get that smirk wiped off his face?
Chiefs:
CPT. Caveman and some of the other guys from Arrowhead Pride have been over on MHR quite a bit, offering some good insight from their perspective on KC. These guys seem to think McCluster is a dynamo, and that Jamaal Charles will destroy our run D. Did Cassel look improved, or similarly pedantic as last year? Have they improved their run D, or their Offensive line?
raiders:
It pains me to capitalize the word "raiders." Does McCLain look good? Is Campbell better suited in this system? Is their new offensive system a threat? How does the secondary look? Does it look like they had as spectacular a draft as the media seems to think? Was Al Davis able to survive in direct sunlight?
I'm interested in your opinions, MHR. Please opine!
