I think, like every year, there will be some surprise cuts come 53 man roster day.  Right now I am looking at 2 areas that will need some surprises or good young prospects may not longer be on our team.  Receiver and Defensive Backs.

Receiver:  It appears to me that there are 3 guys on the "bubble" so to speak and 2 of them would be in the surprise category.  I think Stokely, Lloyd, and Willis are the bubble guys with 2 out of 3 making the team.  All could make it if they keep 7 which I guess is not totally out of the question since we don't run the ball anymore. hahah 

DB's:  I think that the Vaughn kid has shown too much on special teams that they do not have serious thoughts about keeping him.  All the talk of Smith being a bust are way premature but not sure what they do if they keep an extra player here.  If they do that means definitely no 7th receiver.  My guess is that this position might be a special teams only and that could mean keeping either Willis or a DB as that player.

Just my thoughts on a Tuesday afternoon.  Would love to hear what the rest of you think?
