With the news of Elvis's injury hitting today , I felt a little air go out of the balloon. But I do think that Denver has alot of options at LB. From the reports so far Mario Haggan and Wesley Woodyard have been camp standouts and might be the answers to Dumervil's injury.
Mario Haggan - played OLB all of last year and has been practicing mostly inside , but now with the injury to Dumervil I can see him going back to OLB. Yes he had only 1 sack last year but lets face the fact the Dumervil RUSHED almost every single play while Mario had more coverage responsibilities. All reports on Mario is that he has been a Beast in Training Camp and hopefully can switch back to OLB.
Wesley Woodyard - McDaniels has stated that he has bulked up a little and has played very well at ILB. http://www.denverpost.com/broncos/ci_15678940
So I wouldn't personnally mind seeing him next to DJ Williams and have Robert Ayers and Mario Haggan at OLB. I also think that the Dline is Bigger this year with Williams and Bannan will also take some heat off of Woodyard.
So I see that our starting Defense will look like
Justin Bannon - Jamaal Williams - Jarvis Green
Robert Ayers - DJ Williams - Wesley Woodyard - Mario Haggan
