Is this weeks game verse Seattle a MUST win?

Last year we started out strong, going 6-0. This year there is a possibility of going 0-6. I'm not a guy that likes to be negative, but our first half is a lot harder then our second half. I, like must, if not all, thought we would go down to Jacksonville and win the game, but we had to many penalties and gave up to many long returns.

After the jump lets look at the next 5 games.

First we need to win this Sunday against Seattle. And we should win against Seattle. Some people look at what there did last week against SF, and think that Seattle is a good team know. 1 game doesn't determine a team. Just look at what we did last year, started 6-0 and finished 2-8. And what do most of  the media look at...the 2-8 and say that we are not a good team. If we start 0-6 this year, but finish 8-2, does that make us a team on the rise? The fact is we would finish with the same 8-8 record. We need to win on Sunday and hear a 4 reasons why:

1) Indy comes to Denver next week. Yes there lost to Houston, but there are still a great team. Houston was able to run the ball at will on them.

2) Tennessee, next we go to Tennessee and I don't see how we a going to stop Chris Johnson. That guy is going to run wild on us. We are going to have to stack the line and hope Vince Young doesn't throw it over our heads.

3) Baltimore, another team that can run it but has one of the best defenses in the league and can know throw the ball around some also.

4) New York Jets, another tough game against a team with a good run game and a great defensive minded coach.

I hope our first win of the year is not against Oakland here at home on October 24th. We need to get a win on Sunday to a bottom feeder this week in Seattle. If we lose on Sunday I think we could really easily go 0-6 to start the 2010 NFL season. On the other hand if we can get a win, which I think we can, we could go 2-2 in the next 4 games and be 3-3 for the season.
