Why Our Offense Will Be Better WIthout BM

Besides the obvious reasons: KO stepping up, Thomas/Decker/Willis, proper utilization of Eddie, Knowshon in his second year.  I have found some interesting stats that indicates that we will have a better offense with a balanced receiving corps instead of focusing on BM.

I have charted BM's stats from last year and compared based on wins and losses.  It reveals what many of us knew in our gut: BM was not really helping us win games like a $50 million receiver should.

Take a look:

BM clearly was important in our wins against Dallas and NE, but otherwise where did he help us add to the win column?

BM had 77% more catches per game and 36% more yards per game in our losses.

Is BM responsible for our losses?  Of course not.

However, the impact of BM's loss to our team is greatly exaggerated, my dear Watson.
