Injury questions for week one
I know, I know. It's a Josh McDaniels injury report, don't read too much into it, right? Well . . . . There are several listed on our injury report that are scaring the bejesus out of me:
1) Darcel McBath - questionable for week 1 what is up with this? He looked so good against Cincy. I love how he plays, but he is questionable and I haven't heard anything about him since he went out.
2) Andre Goodman - I love Cox as must as the next guy er . . . but this would be brutal.
3) Is Knowshon playing?
4) DG -- AHHHH!!!! Dan Gronkowski, the brother who isn't good, is our back-up, while our second rounder Richard Quinn has played himself to the third string. We CANNOT function w/out DG.
5) Champ'll be there. Bay bay - not really sweating it. Anything we get out of him this year will be a plus.
Much has been made of our injuries with Elvis and all, but I see at least three indispensible players on that list who might not play - DG, Goodie and Knosh. Anybody else a little concerned?

McDaniels injury reports:
For the most part, anyone that has even a .00001% chance of playing will be listed as questionable on the weekly reports. That being said, anyone that has even .000001% chance of NOT playing gets listed as probable. Now whether or not the coaching staff feels like they will play or not is still to be decided and it will never come out accurate with an injury report – and McD likes it that way.

P.S.
Moreno will play. The whole reason he suited up on Thursday night was to get into the game routine before Jacksonville. Champ will likely play as well. Goodie is a different story, the league is much stricter on head injuries now, so we’ll just have to wait and see with him. I’m also not so worried about DG being out. We’ll be a little more predictable but we’re still covered. We’ve got players and athletic linemen that can support the running plays, and we’ve got a multitude of receivers as passing options. There is no doubt, we ARE better with Graham, but I won’t exactely be freaking out if he’s not there.

I'm just happy
That Harris is off this list. Wonder why Daniel Graham is undisclosed – I thought it was bruised ribs. I couldn’t stand the thought of losing that man for any amount of time.
Bailey
will play at Jax for sure. Goody being out doesn’t terrify me, neither does McBath. Kno Mo will definitely play and Thomas needs to fully heal. Dan Graham on the other hand is frightening. We are gonna need that mofo to seal that edge and help our gimpy tackles. God I wish LenDale and Harris didn’t even play that game. Maybe McD should look into a team psychic.
Richard Quinn
What’s the deal with this dude. He should be showing some signs of improvement in this system year 2. All the guy has to do is block. There is no way Gronkowski (who I just found out is related to the Pats beast 1st rounder) is going to be ready to start. Quinn must still be hurt.
Gronkowski is related to Devin McCourty? Brothers from a different mother I suppose.
Denver: 32-32 until we're not.
LOL

Lol
Thanks Davius for bailing me out of that one. Rob Gronkowski looked so good in the pre-season, I forgot he was a 2nd rounder. Sisters from a different mister. lol
No problem at all.
There’s a lot going on in the league around cut-down time. It’s easy to get wires crossed. Just be a good man and save me from my next error… It should be following in pretty short order LOL

most people said that he was a nasty blocker during camp
the question is why is he 3rd string right now…may have to do with injury.

I think he has 2 brothers in the NFL...
Dan Gronkowski is a beast of a man who can easily take on linebackers, the take I’m getting is he needs to soften his hands some so he can catch the ball more. As far as blocking, I don’t think we have to worry.
Heard McD on NFL Radio this AM
He said that the only player definitely out is McBath. He didn’t mention Thomas, but other than that, he seemed to indicate that they would be close to 100% with their expected starters.
I'm not so worried.
I’m confident that those listed as probable will play.
Graham is the only one on the list that is cause for concern. Hopefully we’ll be able to rely heavily on the passing game until his return.
