Well well, Broncos Country. Now we know who our coach is. We even have a good idea of what defense we will be running. Likely, a John Fox 4-3. You can bet that if certain fans and analysts think the Bronco defense lends itself better to a 4-3, the coaches probably see it as well. So, I won't go all in depth as to what we need and all that, I will just start with roster moves, outright.

First, I would trade Kyle Orton to the highest bidder. Al/Stink seem to think a second round pick is still highly possible, so, I'll go with that for now. Say, Minnesota's second round pick. Also, I would trade DJ Williams to the Saints for their 4th round pick. This will give us 8 picks heading into the draft. Enough, I'd say.

Now, I dunno the math here. I may have more or less than 53, but this is just sort of a hopeful offseason, whilst also trying to remain a realist. [Tough to do, mind you]

Would this roster win us a super bowl immediately? Doubt it. We'd still need some key depth and other pieces, but I think it could get us back to contention. -shrug- Thoughts, comments, hatred, love, suggestions all welcome.

Also note: A few other options, instead of Cannon/Leshoure would be Rahim Moore [as Carter can play both strong and free safety], and Ras-I Dowling, for instance. And we could keep Ryan Harris, not have anything to worry about with Cox, etc.
