I dont know about you but I absolutely hate Jay Cutler
Once, in his rookie year in Denver, 45 minutes before a game, surefire Hall of Fame safety John Lynch was trying to explain something to Cutler about NFL pass coverage. Except Cutler wasn't looking at Lynch. He was texting.
"Man, I'm trying to talk to you!" Lynch protested.
Didn't help. Cutler was all thumbs, head down. Finally, Lynch slapped the phone out of Cutler's hands, smashing it to the floor.
He listened after that.

I always hated Cutler because I was a plummer fan (still am). But these Cutler hating posts are getting crazy. He is obviously good so lets just get over it please...

"In a city that has had as many good quarterbacks as Omaha has had good surfers"...
It’s still funny!
broncorat
He no longer plays for the Broncos...
so I could care less what he does one way or another. I’ll make a prdiction now that the Broncos make the SB before Jay does…
Now that we have a legitimate NFL head coach, maybe. But it is sad that McD destroyed our franchise and meanwhile the QB he chased out of town is in a conference title game.

Could you please be a little more dramatic?
McD did much more good than bad during his tenure in Denver. If a huge majority of the coin flips went the other way, we’d have a much different record and maybe the patience to see the team he was building us up to be. But I’m going to let that go like you need to let the cry baby go. We’re at a great point IMO. Fox as Coach and Tebow as quarterback could be an excellent combo with some great draft picks coming our way. So lets forget about one of the RARE bad years we’ve had to endure and look forward to next year.

Oh yes, I’M being dramatic! LOL. Keep on worshiping the guy who was fired both for ineptitude and for just cause (i.e., he cheated, or at the very least hid cheating from his boss and from the NFL) and calling out those who don’t worship your false gods. I’m a Bronco fan, not a McD fan. And after his two-year debacle here, the two really should be mutually exclusive. Imo, of course.

He never said he worshiped McD, he just doesn't believe that he "destroyed our franchise".
It’s just a difference of opinion, there’s no reason to get upset or defensive about it.

Look at the title of his post, then tell me not to get defensive again. And how on earth someone can still claim that McD did more good than bad, when the results loudly speak otherwise, is just a pure mystery to me. He failed. Miserably. And was fired for doing so. That’s not an opinion, it’s a fact. Unless you’re accusing Mr. Bowlen of being inept.

Thank you for being even more dramatic
First, I don’t worship McD, but I thought he was doing a great job and would have led us to greatness if we gave him enough time. Too many of our fans are spoiled and don’t know how to have patience through rebuilding years. But to say he destroyed our franchise is ridiculous. He left us in great shape to move forward. If I worshipped McD, the way you seem to worship the cry baby, I wouldn’t be able to move on from McD’s firing, but I can and have, and am excited for Fox to have a quick turnaround with the decent shape he left us in. I know there are plenty of people who will judge our last season by our record alone, but that’s incredibly dumb IMO. We put up great battles against playoff caliber teams and continued to fight through some tremendous injuries. We did have a couple unacceptable losses, but for the most part we were right there at the end of the game.
Second, I’m not calling Mr. Bowlen inept. But I do think he made a mistake of listening to the fans who were calling for McD’s head. Fans, myself included, know MUCH less than they think when it comes to these issues, and we can’t get in the habit of switching coaches continually during rebuilding years or else that’s all we’ll ever be doing.
Third, there was a huge investigation and despite the fines, no cheating was ever committed. False plays were videotaped, and McD should have reported it sooner, but who hasn’t tried to protect someone else who made a mistake? Besides, if this is your major argument against McD, then I’m sure you REALLY can’t stand Shanahan, the man who brought in your false idol of a quarterback. He actually DID get spies to video tape other teams.
Fourth, I’m a Bronco fan, not a Cutler fan. Cutler, Marshall and Sheffler can all equally kiss my butt for wanting out of our organization. I hate them all equally. Hillis, McD, Shanahan and every other player who left us unwillingly or in good terms still has my respect and I wish them the best.

I think Cutler has Asperger's Syndrome
It would account for his lack of eye contact and inability to recognize social cues…
It’s not an excuse, but it’s a possible reason for why he acts the way he does…
It’s also a reason why I’m glad he’s not supposedly leading my football team.
I don’t see that (and unfortunately I am way too familiar with Autism). But I do think that his type 1 diabetes impacts him at times. My mother is type 1, and if her sugar is low, she does really zone out at times. I’m sure they are monitoring the heck out of it with Cutler, but still, I wonder if he is having mini-reactions during games sometimes?
I want my football team to make the playoffs and win football games. Moving forward, I think that Tebow still could become what we are looking for. He has intangibles up the wazzoo …. hopefully his raw ability can be polished enough to bring everything together.

Personality disorder perhaps?
Ignoring John Lynch and John Elway has to be a sign of some kind of psychosocial dysfunction.
Maybe he just
isn’t good with Johns…….

Agreed. That has to be it.
In addition to that go, he is also a mouthbreathing poser, and a wuss who bails as soon as it gets a little hard.
