Jimmy Smith - CB - University of Colorado - Interesting Stats

The more I learn about Jimmy Smith - CB - Colorado - the more I like him.

Jimmy Smith - 6'2" 205lbs - Smith was a Jim Thorpe Award candidate given to the nation's best defensive back, and has allowed just 11 completions in the last two years. Opponents have shied away from his side of the field for most of his career, and in 40 career games played, he still has racked up 21 career pass break-ups and three interceptions. He finished the 2010 season with 70 tackles, matching his total from 2009, and ended his career with 183 stops.

That is 11 completions in the last 2 Years!!!    I know that Patrick Peterson and Prince Amukamara are very good prospects but at 6'2" 205lbs , Jimmy Smith would be great in the AFC West with all the tall WR's - Jackson , Gates , Floyd.

I would much rather have Jimmy Smith and a Elite Defensive  Lineman like Nick Fairley , DaQuan Bowers or Marcel Dareus.

Denver could draft

1st     Nick Fairley - DT - 6'5" 305lbs    11 Sacks

2nd   Jimmy Smith - CB - 6'2" 205lbs

2nd   Mason Foster - LB - 6'2" 242lbs    7 Sacks

Or

1st      DaQuan Bowers - DE - 6'4" 280lbs and 15.5 Sacks

2nd     Jimmy Smith - CB - 6'2' 205lbs

2nd     Muhammad Wilkerson - DT - 6'5" 305lbs - 10 Sacks
