What are we going to do to improve the position of safety? Here is who we currently have:

SS Renaldo Hill - Seems serviceable at best. May or may not be on the team this year.

FS Brian Dawkins - Looked slow and old this season. I'm assuming he's gone.

S Darcel McBath - Looks to be the best safety on the team. Can't stay healthy. Does he take over for B-Dawk? Can we trust him?

S David Bruton - If you saw him get completely juked by Michael Bush, you might understand why I don't know if he can play safety. He is a good special-teamer, though.

2011 is not a good year for safeties entering the draft. In fact, the top one may go the 2nd round. I'm not inspired by any of them really. There's no Eric Berry or Earl Thomas. Do we draft a couple and hope one pans out?

As for free agents, I don't particularly like any of them. I see a lot of folks here mock us signed Pollard from Houston. I think he's terrible. 

Please, someone give me some hope...
