Darrell Bevell To Denver?

With Minnesota looking for a new OC, can Denver find a new regime in Offensive Coordinator of the Vikings, Darrell Bevell? Bevell has worked well with QBs, being an ex-longtime QB coach. Could bring Tebow's accuracy to a supreme level. Runs an offense similar to McD's, the West Coast. This is more of a passing, less trick play offense. Its similarity though, would be familiar to the players. In this situation, Denver could keep Mike McCoy and bring Mike Singeltary as a powerhouse DC. After Brad Childress's firing, Bevell did a great job calling plays, so Mike McCoy could lear the art of play-calling for a few more years. Singeltary would fill the lack of defensive minds. This could work.

I have high hopes that the Front Office will make very good decisions and hire the 'right' man this time...

Last time with Ellis/Bowlen making the decision we saw where that went and thus the hiring of a football mind (Elway)…

Bevell is very underrated

I hope we look into him as a coordinator. I don’t think he’s ready to be a head coach, but Childress really limited him in Minnesota. I agree that he did a better job when Childress was fired.

NO TO ANYONE AFFILIATED WITH CHILDRESS!!!!!

The Vikes have won these past few years based solely on talent and despite the coaching.

Not a very good comment

Not to question your intelligence, but the Vikes have had GREAT coaches outside of Childress. Sorry man, you’re wrong about this one.

one thing I will say...

and of course I haven’t watched a lot of Vikings football…but, what I have watched…I haven’t been impressed with the playcalling over the last 2 years. It seemed like a lot of times his role was diminished to the point of being an afterthought…well maybe not quite, but certainly not the focal point you would think. Again…I haven’t watched a lot of Vikings football.

If

you poll Adrian Peterson, Sidney Rice, Percy Harvin and Visanthe Shiancoe, I’ll bet they would all say Bevelle is a genius. Joe Webb played well enough a week and a half ago to make the Eagles play today instead of next week if that’s any indication. Please note that Webb had NEVER started an NFL game before that Philly matchup and the Vikes drafted him as a receiver or ATH, if you will….

You

tell him Sayre, that Leslie Frazier seems to know what he’s doing!

Bevelle

is as smart as they come. He went to Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Ariz. where such great minds as Andy Reid and Marty Mornhinweg honed their skills of offensive magnificence. He is not head coach material but he is a great offensive coordinator. It’s not his fault Brett Favre had a terrible year. He would be great for Tebow.
