Former Broncos Coach Mike Heimerdinger Dies at Age 58
Mike Heimerdinger was the Denver Broncos wide receiver coach during the Super Bowl years before heading to Nashville to be an offensive coordinator for a stint, then to Denver again and back to Nashville before being let down in February of this year.
He was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer last year and his year long fight ended tragically for a coach who played a large role in our favorite teams success in the last two decades.
Jeff Fisher released this statement in the wake of Heimerdinger's passing, "It was a tough deal and Dinger was a tough guy to the end, which is no surprise to those who knew what type of competitor he was. He was a man's man."
We at MHR extend our deepest sympathies to Heimerdinger's family and friends.

RIP :(
Broncos Country has your family in it’s thoughts and prayers Mike. Your legacy will live on through countless McCaffery and Smith highlights!
May God be with you, your family and your friends during this difficult time.
If this be Hell, let us make the most of it!
Thoughts and prayers....
….to Mike and his family.
Rugby is a beastly game played by gentlemen, soccer is a gentlemen's game played by beasts and US football is a beastly game played by beasts.
Henry Blaha
And reality slips in... RIP
He attacked everything in life with a mix of extraordinary genius and naive incompetence, and it was often difficult to tell which was which.
Douglas Adams
Thanks for everything coach
Rest in peace.
None of us go out and play for stats. You just do whatever you can to help the team out. -- Eddie Royal

Prayers to his family....that's way too young to go.
No matter who starts at QB, we will be 8-8 or better (8-2-11) Official projection 10-6 (9-6-11)
