Hope.

Watching NFL Network this morning, and one quote from Deion stood out to me. Primetime went on too say that while Kyle Orton is a better passer(which Irvin questioned, as do i) Tebow brings Hope to Bronco Country.

He is right. Yesterday's game proved everything we have been saying all year. Sadly we wasted 4 and a half games of uninspired QB play by Orton. Once Tebow went in, this team had a spark. Sure tebow didn't have a great passing stat line and had issues with JD taking the snap. But remember this guy has been taking limited reps and hasnt been behind JD much this year, so he was a little rusty. I'd take a rusty Tebow over Orton anyday.

The Half Orton played, the offense scored 3 points, and looked sluggish, cept for McGahee. Defense had it's moments, but was giving up some big plays. In comes Tebow at the half. The offense seems a little sluggish in the 3rd quarter, which is too be expected(though if Decker caught that pass, i think we win this game) But the defense kept it close. Guys like Robert Ayers and Marcus Thomas were making plays, the defense had life once again. It was like watching them in the final game last year, but this time we have better players and coaches.

Once the 4th quarter came along, this offense got going. The thing with tebow, is he doesnt just have to do it with his arm. He can move the chains and extend plays with his legs, and he did a great job of it here. Him and McGahee moved the ball and next thing we know, we put up 14 unanswered points and are right back in this game. I had the game on DVR because i had to work, but man i was cheering and yelling at 1am this morning.

But back to my point again, we as fans have hope again. I havent been this excited about the Broncos since that 6-0 start which seems like ages ago. But if Tebow can continue to produce at QB and Willis keeps running and this team as a whole has that spark, we may contend for the AFC West still. Oakland looks tough, San Diego has had a cake walk so far and their schedule gets tough down the stretch, maybe im drunk on this Kool-aid again, but hey we have hope once again in Bronco Country.

GO BRONCOS!!!
