Broncos Meltdown in Greenbay

The Packers routed the Broncos 49 to 23. The main problems were the collapse of the Broncos defense, and turn overs.

Orton through an interception to Woodson in the first half for a pick 6.  Feels also had fumble which stalled another  drive. Tony Romo also had similar interception issues in their loss

to Detroit.

Eric Decker had two nice TD catches, but it wasn't enough. Rodgers exploited weak play at the Safety position

by  Dawkins and Moore. The TD pass to Jennings during the second Quarter and the opening drive of the third

quarter where Rogers scored a TD--ended Broncos hope of a comeback.

The Broncos are obviously not doing well this sesaon and this game showed the Broncos are not

 a playoff team right now.

Much of the reason for the collapse was the in the defensive secondary. Increasing the pass rush, and

getting Champ  Bailey back may help down the road.

Dennis Allen's defensive scheme has failed this week, and Allen needs to be held accountable.

Rodgers passed for 408 yards and 4 TDs. The Broncos pass rush was also lacking which allowed Rodgers to pick

them apart.

Don't think Allen was the problem...

We had guys in position to make plays. That’s the DC’s job.
Plays were not made. That’s the player’s job.

With that being said, Rodgers was that good today. That might be the most impressive game I’ve seen by a QB. Our defense was not great, but Rodgers deserves every bit of credit you could give him today.

If I had a dollar for every Super Bowl San Diego has won, I'd go window shopping at the dollar store.

It's Aaron Rodgers

I think you’re being a little harsh considering we just played probably the best QB in the league. Really the only way to beat him is to outscore him.

I blame Allens play calling

he doesnt blitz and plays too much zone. we have made the qbs we played this year look like great qbs(rodgers being the only real great QB). If denver blitzes and plays a some man the defense will be better

Do You Know How Good Rodgers Has Been Against the Blitz This Year?

It would have been even worse. Green Bay would have put up 63+.

we are rebuilding and we just lost to the SB champs.

the only way to rebuild the correct way is with youth, thru the draft. The QB position is a joke and im tiered of hearing about it. If we blitzed Rogers we would of given uo 60 points.

Meltdown = reality

this game showed the Broncos are not a playoff team right now.

We not even a contender for our own division.

Did Anyone Really Expect Us to Contend This Year?

A murderous schedule, starting three rookies, QB drama, etc. We’ve been competitive in every game except for today against the defending Super Bowl champions with the deepest roster in the NFL. Let’s step back, and reassess the reality of the situation now and where the Broncos were heading into the 2011 campaign.

I can give them a pass today, losing against the defending, and favorite for super bowl champs.....

1-2 against the raiders, bengals, and titans I’m not impressed with, but I’d be okay with. Our defense is improved and is actually fun to watch at times. What bothers me is the coaching and FO seem more interested in standing behind KO than improving the team.

I think everyon overlooked something

We have a 2nd year undrafted rookie in Vaughn, and a rookie FS in Moore. Then we have Wilhite and Carter in the rotation. Those are two starters that dont have much experience in the NFL. Going against the Packers offense. 4 legitimate big play WR’s and a QB who is at the top of his game.

You cant beat the Packers with that much inexperience on defense. Still i liked some of the things the D did.

We lost because the turnovers. This game was closer than it looked its just that things snowballed.

This was clearly a B-Dawk failure....

We all love his infectious attitude and determination!!! However, we clearly see his inability to play at an NFL level. I’m not sure who saw an issue w/Moore, but Moore looked 10X better than Dawkins and Goodman! Goodman never looked up to see the ball coming at him, ridiculous!!!! Orton’s noodle arm was seen at least 3x’s today! He can’t throw 50 yes anymore? Seriously? We need help by replacing BDawk, Orton, Goodman, Moreno…now!

We all saw this coming, and we hoped for the best. But at the end of the day, except for Lloyd, Miller, Decker, Oline, McGehee… We saw a lot of BAD! Tomorrow the Tebow’ers will flood the airwaves with hate and anger. Let the lynching begin…

This post is superfluous and poorly written. I wish the editors here were a little more stringent about what constitutes a real post and what is better left to commentary.

• Orton through ..

• Feels (Fells)

As someone who makes his living as an editor for print...

“This post is superfluous and poorly written. I wish the editors here were a little more stringent about what constitutes a real post and what is better left to commentary.”

This post is kind of funny. For staters, there is no need for two sentences as they are both detailing the exact same thought. If I were editing this I would strike the period and replace with a comma.

Also, this is a fan site made for and by fans, not writers. The whole point to this sight is for people to express their thoughts and feelings, not spend a superflous amount of time editing and making sure everything they typed is up to your obviously superflous standards. This is not a place for english majors to come play “professor”.

Now check this post for errors, I know there are a few and I am leaving them because I don’t give a crap and also because I know it annoys you.

No, it does not annoy me. Just posts that say virtually nothing. They become clutter, and it gets tedious picking through what is pertinent, and what are mere echoes of more well-written posts.
