Ok I am ready to buy in

After the victory over the Bengals I wrote a fanpost where I stated I was not ready to buy in. It may seem a little strange to pick this week to change my mind, but after watching the Monday press conference by John Fox, I have changed my mind. Lets meet at the usual place.

So was I really that inspired after watching the give and take between Fox and the press? No. I actually found John Fox to be mildly boring, full of cliches, and completely unable to give meaningful answers to even basic questions. He strikes me as being a pretty okay guy, but one who has already given up on this team and Tebow in particular. When asked about whether his decision to put Tebow in when and how he did was a signal to the fans to shove it, he pretty much stated that the only reason they ran the play was it was in the first 15 scripted plays. When asked to expand on whether we would see more Tebow he said probably not as he does not want to have the team practicing two separate   offenses. The reporters asked whether this meant Quinn would be more likely to come in if Kyle was hurt and he stated that he does not know.

So why am I feeling better after this interview?

Because I now realize this team is better than we think it is. There are some seriously good young players on this team.

Because our coordinators will be running this team very soon and I am actually pretty happy with them.

And finally, because the Orton debacle is nearly over.

John Fox is already getting beat down. He is oscillating between anger and fatigue with the reporters, the bloggers, and the high expectations of a community of fans who don't accept giving up the season after four games. I think he will fold under the pressure sooner or later and we will see what we have at QB. I believe we have a really good base to build off of and if we happen to catch lightning in a bottle with Tebow or Quinn we could surprise some folks. Hang in there Bronco Faithful, and for the sake of all that is orange and blue, if you don't want to go to the game, give your tickets to me and my family. We will go and boo Orton for you if you do.
