Run if you can fly if you have to..if you feel you must it's a part of the plan

Thursday night the Broncos face a very good defensive secondary with a still untested (not counting the throws in the dirt) NFL passer.  But the Jets are missing a starting safety and the Broncos ground game compresses the defense.

My vote is for the underneath passing game.  I see the TE's getting a lot of throws. For the long ball(s) DT could have a break out night with Decker getting the deep attention and a back-up safety that could be held up for a step or two by the run-option.  Bottom line the Broncos can get a lot of play between the hash marks Thursday night in keeping with the "rest your defense" theme.  In addition they should get a decent number of deep looks.

I hope the gameplan establishes the underneath passing game early followed by the run.  This will depend on field position.  Past the 40 YL and start throwing the safe routes.

I'm not ready to say "playoffs?"..."PLAYOFFS?"...but...HEY... we beat Cincinnati, we had a real shot against Oakland in game one as well as San Diego and Tennessee. Any two of those three and we're already looking back at the rest of the division. Controling the tempo early and making sure we don't go behind is key.  In the Detroit and Green Bay games that was our undoing.

I believe we beat the Jets this week!
Besides I think Rex is disturbing!  Him and Sporano both...I just put that in because it's true.

Prediction 28-17 Broncos over the Jets
