Grounded - Mile High Report
J-E-T-S JETSJETSJETS!!! I can not wait till we silence this when the Jets come to Mile High (also known, (if only by me) as pound town). Stop with the haters, because the Denver Broncos are about to prove that this ain't no fluke of a team.
"We had Plan A, B, and C and nothing worked" - Mile High Report
I do not think opposing defenses realize just how BRUTAL and PHYSICAL this type of offense is. This is not a normal fast agile QB and OL option system, this is a POWERFUL HUGE EXHAUSTING offense with an OL all over 300lbs(Clady 6'6" 315 and Franklin 6'7" 330lbs.) and a "not your average QB" running the ball.
Another take on the "no pass" offense - Mile High Report
As I watched the KC game and the comments during the game I couldn't help but think "some of these people don't see the big picture". Nothing since that game has changed my opinion. Let's pretend we have Aaron Rogers as the QB of the Broncos but he poses the same running threat as Tim Tebow.
Could It Really Be That Easy? Answer: Yes. - Mile High Report
The principle is, if a team's number of catches and number of runs is at least 50. you are more likely to win. Brian Shout put together a lot of info, and showed that it does show a trend, but it also affected by things like home-field advantage and turnovers. So it got me thinking, are we achieving the Magic-50 at all this year, and is it true it increases your chances of winning?

Warner interview
Look forward to seeing this later. Kurt seems like an apt choice to interview Tebow.
He is
Warner has been one of the analysts who is fair toward Tebow it seems

probably due to his unconventional background
Kurt knows how hard it is to succeed in the NFL and knows its possible to prove everyone wrong. (which he did on multiple teams)
he is arguably the greatest Cardinal in history
because of where he took the team. I don’t mean to offend Roger Wehrli or Larry Wilson or Jim Hart….

Warner will make an interesting HoF debate when he becomes eligible.
Personally I think there are too many QBs in Canton compared to other positions which I think is unfair.
I can see Warner sneaking in though – rightly or wrongly.

received too much praise when things go well and conversely, excessive blame when things go awry, we’re agreed my good sir!

I think Warner gets in
Greatest show on turf was amazing, and almost replicated that success for the lowly Cardinals

the way the Cards have gone back to being the Cards since Warner retired shows just how much impact he had on that team
Drinkin the kool-aid, smokin the Orange Kush
Good...and he probably wanted to do the interview
because he understands the religious scrutiny Tebow endures as he was also very open and outspoken during his playing days (esp early on) about his religious devotion…along with the already mentioned pressures of weird expectations from unconventional paths to NFL QBing! Glad to hear he is the interviewer!

Thanks for the tracks Tim - is it ok to link to another media article MHR readers might enjoy? Let me know if I have breached Horse Tracks etiquette!
The always good Cold Hard Football Facts had a nice read today about the Triple option
It’s less Tebow focused than it might appear on first glance – but its an interesting history lesson. The conclusion is a bit gloomy – believing that Tebow is probably going to get injured (although others here would counter that he is more likely to get injured floundering around in the pocket where he is not comfortable rather than on his feet running where he is comfortable).
The CHFF writer at least also thinks Tebow wins us the division this year at least!

lol awesome article
I’m still lol’ing at the end of it
Two weeks after the 49ers’ victory, Mark Stevens’ NFL career came to an end when NFL regulars returned to action.
Tebow’s productive career might not last much longer than Mark Stevens’ career.
But the QuantCoach has seen enough in the last two weeks to predict that, using the leverage derived from his unconventional option, Tebow will deliver the 2011 AFC West title to Denver.
I’m fairly certain that if the Broncos win the AFC West, Tebow is starting in 2012

for sure, even though I have heard of Mark Stevens!

A buddy of mine is roomates with a bartender who’s other buddy is a bartender at Shotgun’s and texted me that some of the Jets were there last night. I know that there are some degrees of separation there, but I hope the Jets are taking tonights game lightly…

I can't see Ryan letting his troops slack for this one.
On the plus side I can’t see Tebow letting the Broncos come out flat either.
I think this is going to be a fantastic game.

Les Carpenter;s article was a bit disappointing
I’m expecting this team to double their amount of pass attempts from last week … nobody seems to understand that it wasn’t 8 pass attempts necessarily by choice but because KC refused to adjust. As long as the defense is giving free passes against the run, why stop?
Looking forward to tonight’s game, if for no other reason to stick it in the face of the mainstream media again.
