NFL Early Games Open Thread

The Broncos have already played to a victory this week, but there are still relevant games today that can affect their season. So if you aren't taking the day odd from your Honey-Do's and wish to discuss the day's events as they happen, the Mile High Report is where it's happening. Check here for the Broadcast Map to find which games are being aired in your area. Below is a list of the early games.

Oakland 5-4 (Road: 3-1) 1:00pm ET

Minnesota 2-7 (Home: 1-3) TV: CBS

Announcers: Jim Nantz, Phil Simms
The Spread: Vikings by 1 point.
Key Injuries:

OAK - QB Jason Campbell, WR Jacoby Ford, CB Chris Johnson, RB Darren McFadden
MINN - S Husain Abdullah, G Anthony Herrera, CB Chris Cook

This is the game most of the Nation will get to watch. Bronco fans will want to witness the demise of their division rivals and scout out a future opponent for weaknesses.

Buffalo 5-4 (Road: 1-3) 1:00pm ET
Miami 2-7 (Home: 1-3) TV: CBS

Announcers: Marv Albert, Rich Gannon
The Spread: Dolphins by 3.
Key Injuries:

BUF - K Rian Lindell, LB Chris White, C Eric Wood, S George Wilson
MIA - K Dan Carpenter is Questionable (Rt, Groin)

Buffalo is on the schedule for Christmas Eve and Denver has already played the Dolphins.

Cincinnati 6-3 (Road: 4-1) 1:00pm ET
Baltimore 6-3 (Home: 4-0) TV: CBS

Announcers: Greg Gumbel, Dan Dierdorf
The Spread: Ravens by 7.
Key Injuries:

CIN - WR A.J. Green, TE Donald Lee
BAL - RB Anthony Allen, DT Arthur Jones

This game doesn't hold much interest, except to gain ground on a conference opponent for possible playoff scenarios. Denver has already defeated the Bengals this year. Still, division matchups are usually tricky to predict.

Jacksonville 3-6 (Road: 1-4) 1:00pm ET
Cleveland 3-6 (Home: 2-3) TV: CBS

Announcers: Bill Macatee, Steve Tasker
The Spread: Browns by 1.
Key Injuries:

JAX - DT Terrance Knighton, DE Aaron Kampman
CLE - RB Peyton Hillis, S T.J. Ward

There isn't much relevance in this game as the Broncos are ahead of both teams in the standings.

Dallas 5-4 (Road: 1-3) 1:00pm ET
Washington 3-6 (Home: 2-2) TV: FOX

Announcers: Kenny Albert, Daryl Johnston, Tony Siragusa
The Spread: Cowboys by 7.
Key Injuries:

DAL - WR Miles Austin, RB Tony Fiammetta, CB Mike Jenkins, QB Jon Kitna
WAS - LB Keyaron Fox, WR Niles Paul, WR Santana Moss

The Cowboys and Indians are usually fun games to watch. Two division rivals going toe-to-toe.

Tampa Bay 4-5 (Road: 1-2) 1:00pm ET
Green Bay 9-0 (Home: 4-0) TV: FOX

Announcers: Joe Buck, Troy Aikman
The Spread: The Pack by 2 Touchdowns.
Key Injuries:

TB - C Jeff Faine, TE Kellen Winslow, LB Dekoda Watson
GB - LB Frank Zombo, T Chad Clifton

This game will be like watching a scrimmage between the 1st String and the scrubs. It'll get old quick unless you enjoy watching the destruction of an opponent by the defending Champs.

Carolina 2-7 (Road: 0-3) 1:00pm ET
Detroit 6-3 (Home: 2-2) TV: FOX

Announcers: Dick Stockton, John Lynch
The Spread: Lions by 7.
Key Injuries:

CAR - LB Jason Phillips, TE Jeremy Shockey
DET - RB Jahvid Best, P Ryan Donahue

How interesting can Cam Newton make this game, Detroit should put them away early.

It will be interesting to see where Denver ends up in the standings, by the end of the day

Go Broncos!
