Can someone please explain to me what the hell "long term answer" means?
Ok. Im officially confused with Mr. Elway. Dude just STFU and support our players. This coming from a life long Bronco/Elway fan. I was 16 when we won the bowl against the packers. I was six when I did my "My Hero" paper for class and guess who that was? Not George Washington. I love the guy.
Now the latest outrage about his comments regarding Tebow. Elway you should know better than to throw more gasoline on this fire. Here I am finally sitting in my home, enjoying winning/inspired Broncos football and then get to hear this BS. Dang, didn't your boss just tell you that he thinks about the situation?
I'm not saying Tebow is a HOFer or that he should just be given the starting job without proving it the rest of the year. But damn, I've seen FO's show more support to accused rapists. Anyone think that's a bit weird? I'm not trying to grow any conspiracy theories, but c'mon man...
So if Elway says we are in a 3 year rebuild, does long term mean three years?
When did everything become long term. I thought the NFL stood for Not For Long. What is a long term answer? Someone who looks great and in 10 years we will have a Superbowl? Funk that. I would rather win one this year even if it was a gimmick. I'm venting a little here...but really....I want to know what the MHR thinks "long term answer" really even means.
I gotta say, even as a third generation die hard Broncos fan, I don't know what I will do if he (Tebow) is sent packing. I am firmly in the "champ Bailey is always right" camp. Eventually Tim is going to own this league. If he gets us to the playoffs I dont think it will matter, but the thought of it not happening in a Broncos jersey is enough to make me punch a baby.....
