The defense is orders of magnitude better than last year, and players that nobody thought much about have stepped up (e. g., McBean, Ayers, Woodyard, Williams, Colquitt). Some retreads have played great (e. g., Bunkley, McGahee, Fells, Rosario), some veterans have provided their usual top-notch leadership (e. g., Dawkins, Bailey), and of course several of the rookies have been terrific, most notably Miller, Franklin, and Harris. Second year players like Decker, Tebow, Walton, Beadles and Clark have really developed and grown to become players. And Dumervil is returning to form now that he is getting healthier.
But for my money, the MVP of this team is Willis McGahee. When healthy, he has provided a running game, in collaboration with a much improved offensive line, that is reminiscent of years past.
Who would you pick as team MVP of the season so far?
