Interestingly enough, by the metric most correlated with winning (aside from the final score), Tebow is currently the best in the NFL. Not too shabby! The article is well worth reading, but the main gist of things is that Tebow is the best at protecting the ball, the best at scoring per touch, and has significantly outplayed every QB he's been up against in each win. There are a certain number of people who are resistant to using stats, but I'd just highlight that this is a very attractive looking model. Most importantly, it's a fairly simple statistic that looks unlikely to be an instance of overfitting. Basically, if Tebow keeps doing what he's doing, we should be expecting to win, no great luck involved.
