According to Vic Lombardi on 102.3 FM, Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller had surgery to repair a broken thumb suffered during the team's 16-13 overtime win over the San Diego Chargers on Sunday.
The report has yet to be confirmed. John Fox will address the media in his normal Wednesday spot this afternoon, and the Broncos will release their first injury report of the week.
Miller had another monster game against San Diego, with his second-straight 10-tackle game. Miller has 10.5 sacks this season, now second all-time for a Broncos rookie, sitting only behind Rulon Jones who had 11.5 in 1980.
The Broncos travel to Minnesota this week to face the Vikings(2-9).
