Open Thread: Eagles vs Seahawks

Good evening, fine folks at MHR. Happy Thursday!

Thursday nights are for football. The Eagles play the Seahawks. Although, theBroncos don't play either team and are in no way involved in the NFC playoff picture, this should be a... football game.

The Eagles started off the year as preseason champions. Dubbed "the dream team", the Eagles were supposed to roll over the competition en route to a potential trip to the Super Bowl. Well, that didn't exactly happen. The Eagles are reeling. Not only is Mike Vick injured, but so is Jeremy Maclin. With DeSean Jackson in the doghouse and Andy Reid on the hotseat, the Eagles aren't winning but they sure aren't without storylines.

The Seahawks, on the other hand, are also struggling. With Pete Carrol bringing in Charlie Whitehurst and Tarvaris Jackson, the Seahawks have been consistently below average. Marshawn Lynch has only gone into "beast mode" a couple of times, this year. It will be interesting to see who shows up to this game.

Who do you think wins the game? Does Tim Tebow have any resemblance toVince Young? Will this game be, at all, interesting like the previous Thursday Night Football games?

I think we should all pause and thank the Eagles right now.

So Dawkins is too old, Mays is too slow and Bunkley just not good enough to play on that dream team defense that the Seachickens are shredding ? Okey dokey..

Man I really dig Seattle's stadium

One of the reasons that it is so loud is because of those overlapping baffles on both sides of the stadium, keeps the sound in. Shoud’ve done that here.
