What's McDaniels' Take?
I'm finding it hard to believe that with the 24/7 Tebowmania media coverage, one aspiring journalist worth his salt hasn't stalked Josh McDaniels to get his take on Tebow's performances. If someone knows if this has happened, I'd love to read it. If not, someone get down to STL!

Josh McDaniels has taken the STL offense backwards in all major categories including total yards(30th), points (32nd),rushing (27th) and receiving (27th). This is an offense with Steven Jackson (1241 rushing last year, 381 receiving) and Brandon Lloyd (led league in receiving yards), and a 2nd year QB in Sam Bradford that is supposed to be improving.
McDaniels really wrecked a lot of things on our team, and now he’s doing the same to the STL offense. He made some absolutely horrible draft picks and draft trades during his two years here, so pardon me if I don’t go out of my way to credit the blind squirrel for finding an acorn in Tim Tebow.
Our Broncos have lost three home games this year while no only division leader has lost more than one. It's time to make Mile High our house again. And it starts Sunday with Caleb Hanie.
That wasn't meant to sound negative toward the poster
Just saying I couldn’t care less what McDaniels thinks. And I’d hate for him to have the opportunity to sound smart and stand on one of his rare good decisions, instead of folks remembering all of his bad ones. I’d hate to give him the chance to feel good about what he did here, because what he did here wasn’t good.

have you seen their games?!
They are decimated by injuries, Bradfords been injured, and their offensive line can’t block anyone, and thats not all on McDaniels.
Im not a huge fan of his either but to blame it all on him isn’t fair either

Just looked it up
Their WRs are mediocre AT BEST minus Lloyd, and Amendola went on IR week 1, Mark Clayton also on IR, as did rookie Greg Salas.
Both starting Tackles on the offensive line are on IR as is the Left Guard leading to a makeshift Oline that eventually got Bradford injured.
Also they have TEN, yes count em, TEN cornerbacks on IR! That is insane! Any team can basically throw on them and run up the score relatively easily and when forced to throw to get back in the games, you can see how those injuries on offense are then magnified.
It is part coaching as well, they havent made the adjustments to their injury situation, but seriously youre bashing McDaniels for this when its really not all on him in this situation…now when he was drafting for us, thats a different story, his confidence as a QB coach told him to draft tebow and it has happened to work for us but not because of anything McDaniels did.

It's all good Rodney
Granted, the interview would allow him to puff his chest out, but I want to know (and any sports journalist worth his pay would want to know and report) on the following:
1. Is Tebow exceeding your expectations as a QB in this league or would you expect him to be where he is if you were still coaching the Broncos?
2. Offensively, would you have used Tebow in a similar fashion that Fox/McCoy are or would you have used him differently?
3. Going forward, how would you help develop Tebow, especially going into the off-season?
4. Before you were fired, what was your timeline for getting Tebow on the field? Would you have played him at any point toward the end of last season or were you content to give him his chance the following year?
5. Do you believe the skies the limit for Tebow or are we seeing an average QB just being more lucky than good?
and so on and so forth. It’s has little to do with giving him a chance to brag and everything to do with providing some actual interesting reading material for those who want to read about Tebow. I’m sick of the regurgitation journalism that passes today.

1) Tim is exceeding my expectations because they are not running my offense. In my offense, he would be all world, just like Kyle Orton. In that offense, I do not expect him to score much.
2) Hell no. Run the ball? Are you crazy? This is a passing league. Do they even count rushing TDs anymore?
3) I would definitely get my brother to coach him again. Tim showed real promise when Ben was drastically changing his throwing motion.
4) Another two years. Ben said he was not ready, so no, I would not have put him on the field. If Kyle could have manned up, we would have gone to the Super Bowl. Even after I showed him the other team’s walk-through tapes, he just could not get it done. I sure am glad I got Brandon here in St. Louis. Now I can teach Sam to focus and block out all those other guy calling for the ball. Focus on Brandon and we can do great things.
5) The sky is falling for Tim Tebow. C’mon Fox? McCoy? There is no way those guys can develop a passing offense. When I left town, Tim’s chances went with me.
Well played!
Thanks, Josh, er Da Burn!

I always wondered...
What do you think McD had in mind when he promised, “an offense unlike we’ve ever seen before.” He then proceeded to draft DT and Tebow. It would be interesting to see if he would have been able to do with Tim, as it was evident he was building toward some vision..
Well since he gave him almost no attention at all
I suspect it would have been visionary, but with no real support and no plan to take it the distance.
