I see too many people getting caught up in this game of who's better, who would you take, etc. Who cares whether Mike Golic, or Steve Smith or anyone else thinks Cam is better. Or on the flip side, if Skip Bayless would take him over anyone. Bottom line, Tebow is our guy. Unlike most of these guys it seems, we're actually watching the games. We see the improvement of Tebow. We see that when they're pointing to 3-16 as proof that Tebow's a horrible passer that he should have been 7 or 8 for 16 if not for accurate throws that were flat out dropped. Tebow misses some throws, that's for sure, but so does every QB in the NFL, Tebow's are just under a microscope. Don't forget, this is a first year starter who just like every other QB (including the legend John Elway) is experiencing growing pains. But I've personally seen a ton of growth since that Miami game.
Bottom line... Cam Newton is a talented kid. He seems like a good kid too. We don't need to tear him down to elevate our guy. Both guys bring different things to the table right now and both are breaking a lot of molds within the NFL about what a QB is supposed to do. Don't fall for the trap, go ahead and like both guys.
