Flacco Complaining on Tebow Coverage
"Inevitably, a Tebow backlash has emerged.
And it’s coming from another AFC quarterback whose team is better, whose numbers are better, but who badly trails Tebow in the AFC fan Pro Bowl voting.
“I mean, look at Tim Tebow,” Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco told WNST radio in Baltimore, via NFL.com. “I like Tim, but you have a tendency to want to — I don’t want to see Tim do bad — but look what happens after he wins a football game. If you watched SportsCenter today, it was Tim Tebow then something else, Tim Tebow then something else, and Tim Tebow then something else. When we beat the Steelers, were we on TV? No. I couldn’t even find a Baltimore Ravens highlight. I think that’s kinda the way it is around Baltimore. We don’t always get our respect but you gotta deal with it and go out there every week and just win football games.”
Flacco believes the Ravens are “disrespected” by the national media. “The bottom line is we don’t need a lot of help because we have a great fan base every week and we win football games,” Flacco said. “We’re not a losing football team that needs to be out there in the media and be talked up like we are all-world. We are.”
Flacco is right. But media coverage is driven by the interest level from fans. Nationally, folks want to hear about Tebow. They aren’t as interested in Flacco.
Really, fans aren’t interested in many/any quarterbacks not named Tebow — including the defending Super Bowl MVP and inevitable 2011 regular-season MVP who is having one of the best seasons of any quarterback in league history.
The difference? Aaron Rodgers is using the slight as motivation for things he does on the field, not things he says off it."
And the crying begins lol

The Ravens are "all world"?
when did they win that one? Must have missed that game, but I did see the Seahawks hand them their asses recently.

I was at that game, "hawks owned them
It wasn’t a butt whoopin, but it was a smash you in the mouth until you don’t want it anymore kind of game. I was actually shocked that Seattle was more physical on both sides of the ball (and special teams) for 60 minutes. Ravens got schooled in that game.
Seahawks have impressed me a couple times this year -
I would like to see them in the thick of things on a regular basis.

Waaaaaaa.... this is out of Tebow's hands.
I am sure if you asked tebow he would not want all of this attention. But as far as a Bronco fan I love it.
Flacco only comes off as a whinny little baby talking like this. You don’t see the Great Qb’s talking like this because they know how the media works….
flacco really didn’t help himself or his team sniveling like this…. sniff…sniff..
No one covers them because Joe Flacco sucks this year
The Ravens are winning on defense and Ray Rice. Everyone knows that and there’s no need to analyze anything. If Flacco stops playing like crap the ENTIRE game and leads his team to some comeback wins then they will get more coverage.
Eat it Flacco...
Ever since that Ravens exec kicked us out of the game a couple years ago before we had our 1st beer for standing in front of our 1st row seats I’ve had nothing but hatred for everything Ravens.
You’ve won nothing! And who’s the “losing team”?

Stick Flacco in the fourth quarter of any of Tebow's comebacks this year
If he could win one of them he’d deserve coverage.

The way Tom Brady is lighting up the scoreboard this year...
he’s the one that would have room to complain. But he gives Tebow a complement and then gets ready for the next game. Maturity goes a long ways.

Hey Flacco...do you need some cheese to go with that?
I think a nice Caciotta would go well with your drink if you asked me…and it would match your play on the field.

Flacco Facts
Just one fact, really. Flacco is boring. He had to use the "Tebow’ word to even get in print.

Makes him sound pathetic..

I'm gonna love it when the Ravens choke, end up as the 5 seed and....
Come to our house in the playoffs. VonDoom is gonna put the hurtin on this joker and I’m going to cheering it on the whole time! It’s about time someone puts the Ravens in their place—-and we’ll be the ones to do it!!!
Baltimore still has a football team?????

It must be that time of the month again for Joe
he probably needs a hug, where’s his best friend Ernie when you need him?!?
Q: What will happen if Tom Brady can't make the delivery of his first child with Gisele Bundchen? A: Bill Belichick will tape it!
Flacco is just being inspired
We are going to face them in the playoff and he wanted to give our team enough motivation to whoop them bad.
It’s all falling into place for a Tebow Rodgers showdown.
Falco > Flacco
I would rather have Falco from the movie “The Replacments”.
Victor Frankl:
What man actually needs is not a tensionless state but rather the striving and struggling for some goal worthy of him. What he needs is not the discharge of tension at any cost, but the call of a potential meaning waiting to be fulfilled by him.
Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms – to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.
the funny thing about that is Keano Reeves never threw a football before that movie, he didn't know how
all the extra’s were highschool and college football players, and he worked with a trainer to develop some NFL skills. The trainer in the extra’s said when all was said and done, he could actually play in the NFL with his skillset he developed. He claimed he could wing it, hand one heck of a cannon and was accurate. Now reading defenses is another story however – and who knows if he could actually learn an entire playbook lol
Reading scripts and learning the playbook are two different things. Scripts aren’t exactly X’s and O’s.

LOL
Flacco is full of crap. The Ravens and Steelers were all over the media out here. Maybe he should look at the local news once in a while.
Go Broncos!
I believe.... 11-5 till we ain't baby!
Someone send this to the players if we play them in the playoffs.
"I'm going to be a Bronco forever" -Rahim Moore
Flacco is the most boring QB in the league...
and now he also a biatch. Go cry to your mama cause noone else cares.
Playoffs!?!? Playoffs!?!? Don't talk about Playoffs!! Playoffs?!?!
This is exactly the point....
This isnt the Altruism League.
This is the NFL whose sole purpose for existence is to entertain people.
Joe Flacco ranks second behind Captain Yawnfest (Orton) as the most boring player in the NFL.
You’re highlight isn’t on Sportscenter, Joe, because no one gives a crap.

Tooooooo Funny!
Give him a mic cause he cant find his “passy”! (that’s passifier for you all who have no little kids)

It is better to keep silent, and appear to be wise, then to ramble on aimlessly and remove all doubt! The Wisest Man, Solomon.
This is too funny.
He is criticized constantly and is now 7-1 this year after taking over from Orton, so yeah he will get a lot of attention. If nobody likes it then maybe they should turn the channel.

If Flacco is saying this, I wonder if any Broncos are thinking this?
Just like any celebrity that gets overexposed, it begins to wear thin. I personally love it, but the coverage is almost 24/7. I figured we would hear something much earlier than this. By the way, the Ravens are the one team that I fear in the playoffs. Typically, the Ravens are to the Broncos what the Broncos are to the Patriots. We generally dont do well even when we have better teams.
