In no particular order...
Cinderella is still alive. Far more people love the Broncos than hate the Broncos.
If not for an unusual trio of fumbles recovered by the opponents, the Broncos could have maybe have sustained a lead or tie heading into "Tebow time". Don't blame Tebow for DE Anderson pulling that outside-to-inside trick.
Tim Tebow is hard to bring down and attempting to do so can result in pain.
He is a couple of weapons and pieces away from being dangerous.
It's not easy limiting one of the best WRs(Welker) and TEs(Gronkowksi) to 8 catches, less than a hundred yards, and 0 TDs combined. If Broncos had just another piece or two to try limiting Hernandez as well, the Pats would have had to rely on the other receivers(none of whom got more than 1 catch a piece). I find it hard to believe Tim Tebow didn't warn them that Aaron Hernandez is a great route-runner.
John Fox had a terrific gameplan for that first quarter. This game was playing out like the 2010 New England playoff game versus the Jets featuring flashes of nickels and even dimes. The problem for the Broncos is that the Patriots learned from that experience by getting more talent for the O-Line and picking up 2 RBs in the draft. Belichick outmaneuvered Fox in the adjustments, going to mostly a 3-4 defensive front on one side of the ball to limit the run. On the other they were running the ball at those nickel and dime packages that helped limit Brady's receiving options but resulted in TEs Gronkowski and Hernandez looking for some small DBs to run-block the heck out of.
Denver has no reason not to have another chance at the Pats in the playoffs. Best of luck to you guys, but never too much.
