Oh well!

It’s all about scoreboard…Aldon Smith has the lead and you can bet the 49’ers PR machine will start making a case for their own pass rushing star, across all sports media. Von Miller has to step up. Wasn’t this always going to be a competition anyway? Well, “game on”! Let’s go V Miller…time to strap it up

"we don't plan to fail, we fail to plan"
" character is who you are, reputation is what they say about you"
"always have character, don't be one"

The difference from what I've seen (not that I've watched all of his sacks)

is that his sacks are coming from scheme. The 49ers do a very good job at it as well!

Miller’s is due to his athletic ability and going toe to toe with a tackle and sometimes a running back as well.

The Definition of an optimist: A Buffalo Bills fan waiting at Buffalo Niagara International Airport for the Bills to return from winning the Super Bowl.

Biggest difference....

SF has a great total defense and defensive stars other than Smith. Wills and Bowen (sp??) are beasts. Von is on a defense that was pretty bad last year and while statistically pretty bad this year as well, has shown promise based on his play.

Hopefully voters see it that way and notice that he has made a significant impact

Also… Von has 63 tackles…. Smith only has 31 (18 if you don’t count the sacks)

I guess that's why Halarson and Brooks (Our starting OLBs) have eight sacks combined

Of course Smith is going to have way less tackles, he’s a situational player. Von Miller is more valuable to his team, but this isn’t the most valuable rookie award, [Player] of the year awards are based off productivity and Aldon Smith’s productivity compared to number of snaps is off the charts, probably best pass rushing efficiency in the league after last night.

I am afraid Miller lost DROY

simply by having an invisible nationally watched game while Smith had a very visible nationally watched game on the same weekend.
