The Grinch that stole Christmas

I awoke this morning with a smile on my face. Little did I know that no more than five hours later that smile, as well as the remnants of my Christmas spirit, would be shattered.

The Broncos traveled to Buffalo the day before Christmas. In the minds of Broncos fans around the world, Tebow would play the role of Santa Clause. His gift? To bring home the AFC West divisional crown back to Denver. Little did we know that the Buffalo Bills, or in this case the Grinch, would have plans of their own to steal Christmas from Broncos fans around the world.

What a sloppy game. That is the one word that comes to my mind when I look back at this game. Check that, turnovers also comes to mind. For a team that prides itself in not turning the ball over, they sure have done a lot of that the past two weeks.

For the second straight week the Broncos have began the game strong, scoring the games first touchdown. Only to do seemingly nothing the rest of the way. I'm well aware that Denver's playoff hopes are still alive. They travel home next week to battle division rival Kansas City Chiefs. If the Broncos win, then they are in the playoffs. If they lose....well we will all have fun reading the daily mock drafts.

I have faith that this team can find a way to come back from this. Although I have to be honest. If Denver continues this type of play, then they do not deserve to be in the playoffs.
