have gone into uncharted territory. It is almost as if they are having office pools just to see what they can get away with. Following a year of wholly invented stupidity dominated by the insane notion of teams intentionally losing in the NFL so that a player on those teams could be replaced by an unproven college kid and perhaps a coach could be fired as well, to the insane stories of Denver's young QB being unable to throw a football despite all of us having seen him throw the ball throughout his college career, his three starts last year, and his ten starts this year.
But now, for the final week of the season, we have the mainstream media pounding it into our heads that Kyle Orton is a fiery competitor bent on vengeance against the team that cut him...rather than the weak armed emotionless guy that hasn't ever played well in a big game, is ineffective in the red zone, and tends to commit stupid turnovers when the heat gets cranked up. I guess it might serve the purpose of bringing in casual fans, But, just for the record, Orton wasn't jilted by the Broncos. He played himself out of the starting job and then was given his release when he asked for it. If anything, Orton should be angry at the Chiefs for claiming him and not letting him go back to the Bears. Even if he is somehow really really angry at the Broncos, it's not like he has the skillset, passion, or wherewithall to do anything about it.
