With Coach Zorro on our side, we will slice opponents to ribbons. Tim Tebow gives me hope and I already have faith and charity in my heart! I see a propitious future rife with Lombardis for our Broncos!

Yeah I really don't want to lose this one and hear the inevitable "same old Broncos" pissing and moaning for another year.

Thanks for the Tracks Kaptain!
I’m really looking forward to Our team executing to their fullest potential. Here’s to the entire team firing on all cylinders from here on out! I mean, I will be fine if We don’t blow them out, or shut them out this weekend. We might just be saving that/those performances for the post-season. ( ;
I just continue to be amazed by the fact that I can be more and more excited to see Broncos games. I thought there’d be a peak. But it seems, it can indeed, just increasingly keep building and building. Super stoked ova hea! GO BRONCOS!!!

Each year since 2006 we're reminded of the subtle differences that each season brought us, but most of them with the same results
But this year for the first time in 6 years the Denver Broncos have a good chance of retaining their Defensive Coordinator for a 2nd year. The Broncos defensive coordinator position has been a revolving door with coach moves every year going back to 2006. 2007 Larry Coyer was let go and the Broncos hired Jim Bates to the position who lasted but one year and the Broncos hired Bob Slowik to run the defense of 2008. Bob Slowik was fired along with head coach Mike Shanahan after the 2008 season. 2009 Mike Nolan who had been fired as head coach of the San Francisco 49ers was brought on board and immediately switched schemes from the 4/3 to the 3/4. 2010 Don “Wink” Martindale went from Linebackers coach to take Nolan’s place as DC and promised the fan faithful a faster, more physical defense, but in the end all he could muster was a 4-12 record and the 2nd worst team out of 32. 2011 brought a whole new look to Dove Valley with a brand new head coach and partly new staff. Well some of the positions were replaced and quicker than you could sneeze and Wink was out the door.
Head coach John Fox hired Dennis Allen who was the defensive backs coach under the Saints DC Greg Williams and Head Coach Sean Peyton. Along with the help of the defensive minded new head coach Allen was able to piece together and start rebuilding a fledgling 3/4 defense into a brand new 4/3 fast attack defense. The transition wasn’t easy by any means since there was no contact with the players during the lockout to abide by league rules. But, he was able to piece together a unit in time to play football. IMO that was an outstanding feat and I applaud him for the many hours he put in to make the Broncos defense what it is. It also gives us a pretty good idea of where we’ll be going in the future, up…Now with all accolades aside, I sincerely hope we can retain this young man and let him finish his rebuilding project. It should be exciting to watch, and, coheisiveness is what makes for a successful unit.
So be proud Broncos fans whether we win this Sunday and change the course of history or not, whether we back-door into the playoffs or not, we still are encouraged by the fact that we now have a continuity that might last for years. Playing beyond next Sunday is just a small picture of where we’re headed, buckle up, sit back and relax, and enjoy the greatest show on earth ~ The Denver Broncos!

THIS
is one of the biggest reasons we’ve been in a slump.
How can any team go through so much transition on the defense and not struggle?
Of course all of the DC’s except for maybe Nolan were very ineffective and needed to go.
Fox\Allen have done a great job so far, hopefully they can continue to build the defense and we can continue to play TEAM football.
I wrote this elsewhere,
but don’t know where. Don’t jinx it free. Say we do go to the SB, I’ll dare bet he gets a look as a HC.
The best of the 2011-2012 season is yet to come.
I haven't heard Allen speak about any head coaching aspirations, he may want to coach and learn before taking the big leap to head coach.
Some coordinators make terrible head coaches, we it it happen every year just about and there are some (DC Dick LeBeau) that are satified letting somebody else have the head-ache job. We’ll have to see what lies down the road, but I would think he wouldn’t jump into this soon in his life. Note some that have struggled ~ Wesley frazier, Raheem Morris, Steven Spagnuolo, Mike Nolan, Mike Singletary and others. let’s just hope we can glean every ounce of energy this young man has to give then we’ll cross that next bridge.
Win, lose or draw, we are the Denver Broncos! 13-3 Baby!!! Until we ain't!
